Yesterday was tons of fun! Me and Mike went to the used bookstore and I got 5 books for less than $15 ... and one of them, my favorite, was only $4, Volume 2 of my favorite science fiction/fantasy series called "Otherland" by Tad Williams .. "River of Blue Fire" ... one of the best out of 4. And when you buy books, you get to take a book out of the free bin, so I got Mike "The Hazards of Being Male" as a joke, lmao! That thing was written in the 70s. One of the chapters is actually called "The Wisdom of the Penis!" ROFL! :roll:

I think it turned out alright :) Well, I'm over Cole's hanging with her and Lee right now so I won't blab too much. It kinda stank last night though because I got to stay over Mike's last night, which doesn't happen much because his stepdad doesn't like girls to stay over, but he (not me, I wasn't tired...) ended up falling asleep at like 3 am anyway because he didn't get much sleep the night before .. :? had to come home at around 9 am this morning because his stepdad was coming home earlier than expected ... so I didn't get much sleep and I'm running on who knows what now ... I should be asleep ... :( I've got some kinda stomach problem because it's killing me, but I don't know why ... I thought having my appendix removed a few years ago would get rid of that, but it didn't. :? Well, I'm gonna head out. Ciao. :idea:

Well, even though the day is technically 1/3 over ... me and Mike are going to the bookstore today ... maybe taking a walk downtown ... things like that are the best, where you just enjoy each other's company in somewhat unusual surroundings. I think one of my favorite things to do would be to go to a completely unknown town and just walk around all day. Kind of like when we're going to Hawaii next winter!!!! Gack that's so exciting ... it'll be me, Mike, Mike's mom and stepdad ... and I don't know if anyone else is going .. we'll be there for like a week. I have to start saving for it though, because Mike can't foot a bill for me to go to Hawaii 8) But I'll only need to save probably somewhere around $800. That's worth it for a week in Hawaii!! :shock: And I've still got till next January/February. ::jitters:: I'm sure it'll come up sooner than I think! :D

I need to finish blow drying my hair ... so I'm done with this boring post. Anyone have a favorite vacation spot they'd like to be in right now?

Sometimes days like today are good. Got up late, ate some cereal, went to work. Had a nice slow night, not too many customers. Ate some yummy General Tso's chicken w/white rice from the Chinese place. The people there are so friendly; there's this teenage guy who works there who is always almost overly nice ... came home, did a couple drawings, one that turned out really good. And that was about it. Mike's been busy w/his friends all night, so I haven't talked to him. But hey, we all need time to unwind ... and I gotta get up at a decent hour to pay my late fee at the library tomorrow. One of the books I'm being charged for I can't find. It's either totally lost in my room or at my ex's house, in which case I'm just paying for it rather than ask if he has it. :? Then me and Mike are going to go to a new/used bookstore and maybe find some cool stuff. And a couple other random weird stores. New experiences like that are fun.

Talk about a totally monotonous day. Worked from 2 - 6 and then had a meeting at work ... we waited 20 minutes for this aggravating chick to show up but then decided to fuck it and start the meeting without her ... she showed up at like 6:45 when the thing started at 6 ... she's such a dumbass ...

And now I gotta worry about getting up at 8:30 am tomorrow because I gotta open at work. Blah! Nothing to do tomorrow either ... Mike's busy with Jerome and Steve which is fine but I had plans with my cousin up in Cleveland tomorrow but there's a blizzard coming so I probably won't make it ... ugh ...

So I made my last blog post earlier today .. I fell asleep sometime after that and slept till about 3 ... went to the store with my mom and was aggravated by children ... then went to work. Mike sent me a cute e-mail and I was happy to have that when I got online ... when I get a picture of Mike and myself I'll post it for everyone, but till then, I don't want him to get weirded out if he finds his pics here, so I shall wait ... I can't believe we'll have been together only three months on Saturday. That means that it's been about three months since me and my ex broke up. That's IT! And Christmas was less than two months ago. What the heck is up with time?! We cased some hotels Saturday night while we were out and about in Fairlawn. We decided we'd stay at the fanciest hotel in the area because heck, if you're gonna stay in a hotel, might as well go all out on it! So excited! :D

I can't really think of too much else to say. Gonna go see "Constantine" on Saturday. I hope that turns out decent. Mike is REALLY excited to see it, so it'll probably be pretty good. Keanu Reeves is ehh, Rachel Weisz or whatever her name is ... all I remember is seeing her wet in a white tank top in the previews ... why do movies ALWAYS do that? It's so easy to just use sex appeal to reel people into watching something. ARGH! I've got a headache now. I'm gonna go to bed. Gotta get up at a decent hour to go to Cleveland tomorrow; I hope it's worthwhile ... later gators. :idea:

Welp, we went to the Home and Garden Show ... man ... about 1/4 of it was pretty gardens, and the other 3/4 was just vendors trying to sell hot tubs, gardening equipment, roofing, etc ... the best part was the huge ferris wheel :D

Didn't really DO a whole lot today ... ate at Cici's Pizza ... good place, cheap buffet and lotsa food & pizza ... went back to his house and took a rejuvinating nap .. oh! We watched "Saw" and that movie freakin' rocked. I thought I was going to be kinda eh about it, but what a total shocker ending ... probably the best movie I've seen in a few months. It comes out for rent on Tuesday but I got to rent it early since I work at a video store :roll:

Bleh ... also going to be there for some odd reason is the author of a biography about LeBron James, WHOOPEE. Mike went to the same high school as LeBron but graduated a year ahead, in 2002. He cannot STAND that guy. And I don't blame him! Mike was involved with the theatre and the arts and did a lot more of interesting stuff than LeBron ... yay, he can throw a basketball and get hit in the face and drive a Hummer ... and apparently St. Vincent St. Mary was a not so beautiful high school until LeBron donated a ton to the school, or they made a profit or whatever ... they renovated it since he left. And when we go into Akron, there is sign that says "Home of LeBron James" ... as though anyone REALLY gives a shit. I'm all for people moving up in the world, from the ghettos of Akron, but I think he should've at least gone to college out of high school, to get an education (which probably would've been free), but noo, just had to jump in the NBA ... ::shakes fist:: .. I went to school in Akron when I was in 3rd grade and he graduated 2003 like I did ... hehe would've been funny to be able to say I was in 3rd grade with LeBron ... actually me and Mike figured out we knew the same kid; I had a crush on a kid named Alan Jackson in third grade (how could you forget that name?) and I told him about it and he said that kid was in his Spanish class, haha! We both live about 30 minutes from Akron now, but Mike went there since it was a private school ... anyway ... I'm done ranting about Mike. Whoo hoo! I just got back from that vending job interview/tour, and I was pleasantly surprised with the working conditions. They liked me so much and I had good recommendations from my mom and her supervisor, that they didn't even give me an actual interview. They did chop off a big chunk of my hair for a drug test though :cry: It was worse than getting a shot; feeling those scissors on my hair :cry:

But all they have to do is get the results for the drug test back and I'm in! I have no worries of course as I have never even tried a drug. 8)

It'll take about a week to get the results back, so today I have the unfortunate duty of telling my manager that I got a new job ... ugh, I really loathe it; my best friend works there, my manager is SO nice, and another girl just quit, and another may be quitting ... luckily this is a morning job, so I can work evenings when she needs me and help to train someone, but eventually it will be better if I just quit. It sucks. :cry: No more inside jokes about lazy employees ... no more free rentals! That one hurts!!! :evil:

Anyhoo, time to go to that job now. Catch ya on the flip side. :roll:

Well, finally made it to the middle of the week! It's been kinda crummy but I managed. Mike's always so grumpy online. After seeing him every single day last week, it's been hard to deal with not seeing him since Sunday :cry:

Bleh ... busy day. I'm hardly ever up this early. In about 15 minutes, gotta leave for that interview for that foundry position .... I'm hoping that goes better than I expect it to. :? Then I work from 2 - 7 ... and yay Mike is picking me up from work. :P

Mike and I figure out new things that we have in common everyday. It's really weird ... like the smallest most insignificant things we'll have in common .. like we both absolutely love to stay in hotels; more than the average person ... that hotel smell, hehe ... it just makes me think even more that we're meant to be. :D

I'm going to an interview for a job sometime this week. In the position I would refill/order stuff for vending machines in a foundry. I wouldn't mind the work part of it, but I would be working a) in a foundry, they are kind of dirty, and b) around a lot of older men. I've never been one to be paranoid about older men, but there are probably a lot of hispanics who work there, which doesn't bother me in the slightest, but they probably don't speak English. So who knows what they could be saying about me. I'm not a great catch or anything, but sometimes older men get kind of creepy ... I encounter it at the video store all the time ....

But I figure, even if I get this position, I will feel so mind-numbingly bored ... but I have to get it so I can save money for college. I cannot avoid college anymore. I don't care if I don't know what I want to major in, I just have to go and at least get the general classes out of the way. I had a dream last week that my mom was screaming at me as I was driving along a flooded road that my life was going to amount to nothing ... I woke up pretty angry and upset. :x

I feel so in a rut ... luckily, Mike gives me motivation to be a better person, but he does SO much that it almost makes me feel inadequate. But, he keeps telling me that's not how I should feel, etc. ... I try to keep my mind on the future and happiness, but sometimes I get so deep into those thoughts ...

Him and his dad are going on a 2 - 3 week trip from May/June all over the eastern/middle part of the US. I was kinda nervous at first because that's right around my birthday, but he said they'll definitely be back by then. We also have a white water rafting trip planned to West Virginia around the same time, so that's a busy month .. and the new Star Wars comes out, yes!!

I can tell that I am going to update this thing way too much, but hey, admittedly if I'm not with Mike or at work, I'm on my computer or playing video games. I'm having a pretty good time with Lunar Legend. I wish the Nintendo DS wasn't so heavy though ... I get tired holding that thing over my head at night, lol ...

My significant other, Mike, is an English major. After school on Wednesday, he informed me that Bush/his sidekicks are trying to pass a bill that would not allow student/teacher discussions on the topic of comparing Iraq/current war to past wars and administrations. Isn't that absurd?! I'm going to find a link to a story about this. Mike said everyone was signing petitions to block this from happening. I can't even believe that such an infringment on free speech would be considered.

On another note, 2/6 is my sister's birthday ... gotta get up at a decent hour to go visit her ... my sister has cerebral palsy. This means she cannot walk, talk, or have 90% control over her bodily movements/functions. She's going to be 23 ... it's amazing; doctors always said she wouldn't live to be 5, then 10, than 15, etc ... she has to be under supervision all the time. She lives in a room with 4 other girls in the same condition. I live in the 'great' state of Ohio. Here we have a governor who has such a fucked up budget, that he is pushing to get rid of facilities such as the Hattie Larlham Foundation, where my sister lives. They have to show her how to hold eating utensils, even though she is fed through a tube in her stomach. They have to put her hands in the worker's hands when they open a thing of her medicine, to show her how to do it. THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE. They are trying to make all of these children who could in no way shape or form survive on their own, try to do these tasks. All because they don't have the money to keep these places running. My mom has been and I plan to go to a few rallies and meetings about this whole topic, because should my mom pass away, I am my sister's guardian. I know that I could not take care of her, nor would I be able to handle the immense responsibility - my mom couldn't even do it.

Anyway, the government fucking sucks, I hate our governor and president. Gonna arrest me?
