I want Lunar ...

Dangit! I'm almost done with FF Tactics Advance and I already need another RPG to soothe me, lol. But I am happy because of this http://www.lunar-net.com/news... I really liked Lunar Legend for the GBA, and Mike is a HUGE fan of the Lunar series, so we were both really hoping that there would be a Lunar for the DS! I picked to name the new Lunar "Dark Skies." My friend Justin says that's the name of a flying game and he likes "Scarlet Sun" but nah ... it'll be cool to see the results!

Mike, me, and Jerome are going over Cole and Lee's friend Carl's (with his gf Kendra) house. So this oughta be fun, meeting new people (well I met Kendra already). But me and Mike are bringing our DS's just in case! Speaking of which, I better get going. He'll be here in about 15 minutes. So ciao!

Movie night (and more)!

Today was actually really good! I don't know what it is about working Friday mornings, but it always puts me in a good mood anymore. The people that come into work in the morning/early afternoon are friendly, it's fun because we get the new movies that come out the following Tuesday on Fridays (got National Treasure and Phantom of the Opera today) and generally it's just nice. Even the UPS dude was nice today. A little too nice. He patted me on the shoulder as he was leaving, lol X( ... I almost bumped into some dude coming out of the pharmacy in the plaza I work in before I opened the store, and he's like "Well pardon me! If I'm gonna bump into anyone, I'd want it to be a pretty woman like you!" Old guys creep me out; well at least the ones who rent porn movies or flirt with girls 1/3 - 1/4 their age!

Anyhoo. Got to Mike's house at 5, picked up our pizza and first we watched 'Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within.' I'd give it a ... 7/10. I didn't love the story, but the graphics were just unbelievable (actually they were REALLY believable ... haha). Then we went for a walk again back in the woods and along the river ... let me just say ... nobody for like a mile ... nice night ... you get the picture 8) That may've been the best thing we've ever done.

Got back and watched "Artificial Intelligence" ... since we don't have "Gattaca" on DVD at work : I forgot that movie was like 2 1/2 hours long! But Mike liked it so that's all that counted :) But nothing else really eventful happened ... I gave him the bracelets I made him yay :) But we're gonna do something tomorrow ... no idea what yet. So I'm headin' to bed. Ciao.

Finally home ...

Well ... the last few days were eventful, but not. After work Tuesday night me and my mom got to my grandma's around 11:30 pm, and my Aunt Cynthia was there! We hardly ever see her. Turns out she's staying with my grandma for a month or two before she moves to Washington, D.C. I don't really want to talk about her ... basically, she never calls/visits my grandma, even when she had previous surgeries, and now she's living with her for a few months, and probably won't see her for a long time after that. Annoying. But something interesting did come up; my cousin Michael may be getting out of the Marines (been in the for nearly 8 years) and might go to college to make video games!!! I must credit him with getting me into video games like my dad; he'd play Mega Man and I'd watch. He's awesome. He likes animé and all that good stuff. I haven't seen him since he's joined the Marines, and I bet we would get along really good now, especially, even though he is about 5 - 6 years older than me.

So my grandma's surgery went great. It was for her glaucoma. She has to wear a patch on her eye at night for a week or two, and in about 6 weeks she'll be all healed up.

Let's see ... played a TON of Tactics Advance ... Mike says I'm almost done with the game. Now I'm just going to concentrate on leveling up about 7 of my clan members ... Airyx (human, main job - fighter), Colette (viera, main job - assassin/elementalist), Montblanc (moogle, main job - black mage), Douglas (human, main job - paladin), Marty (nu mou, main job - illusionist), Schneider (bangaa, main job - gladiator), Simon (human, main job - blue mage). I may also work on making Simon a ninja ... but I've got Colette and she's awesome. Anyhoo ...

Tomorrow is me and Mike's movie night! We're gonna get a pizza and watch the movies we've picked out for each other. I'm (still) stuck between Artificial Intelligence, Gattaca, Secondhand Lions, and Matchstick Men. Mike is stuck between the Final Fantasy movie and Equilibrium. I saw the first few minutes of the FF movie a year or so ago and liked it but never got to watch more than that. So I'm hoping he chooses that.

So what else ... I've taken up a bead thing! KreativeKat here on tblog made a really nice necklace I saw on her blog the other day. While I just buy beads and stuff from the store, it's fun, and I already made Mike a (non feminine!) bracelet :D But anyhoo, I'm kinda tired, and anything else I have to ramble about is rather uninteresting. So I think I'm just gonna go to bed. Ciao!

Another good day!

Today was pretty good! Woke up ... did the usual laundry and shower and got ready for Mike to pick me up ... he picked me up at 5 and we went up to Comp USA to get him a flash drive. We pick the one he wanted, the one that was advertised, for $20. When we get to the register, it rings up as $30. He said it was advertised for $20 and this bitchy girl just said "MAIL IN REBATE" like we were supposed to know or something. She was rude and had these huge gaudy fake nails on. Half the people in that store don't even look like they know jack about computers!

Then we went to KFC and after that Gabriel Brothers :D I got a cute pair of khaki colored capris with a cute cargo pocket, a Grumpy the Dwarf shirt (everyone says I'm grumpy, lol), and a nice blue top. Also a sexy black lingerie set 8) And I picked up a funny thing for my mom. Anyhoo, went back to his house ... he helped me out on Tactics quite a bit ... we had a GREAT time after his parents finally went to bed ... wow ... he has really good endurance ... we don't do the deed but frankly he has hands and a tongue of never ending energy! But I don't like to talk about that on here really, lol, except that I think sometimes I'm a little too insatiable, hehe ...

We watched a Hello Kitty video because it had the "Heidi" story on it and he was interested to hear her voice. Mike is great. He watches Hello Kitty and Keroppi with me and actually enjoys it! We always joke about it since it's so corny. He's the whole reason I'm into Keroppi actually. We were looking at kids sale movies at work around when I first started there and he showed it to me :) He actually almost bought it so I'm kind of glad he didn't! FYI, Keroppi is the frog dude I have wallpapered on my blog. But I won't get to see him till Friday since I'll be at my grandma's until Thursday night ... well he's gonna stop in to work tomorrow afternoon/evening and see me so that'll be nice ... but we're gonna have a movie night on Friday. We're each gonna pick out one movie we want the other person to see and watch it! I'm torn between "Artificial Intelligence", "Gattaca", "Return to Oz", and "Moulin Rouge." He wants to see all of them ... grr I'll just pick last minute Friday :)

Welp, it's off to bed with me ... got some Tactics to play ... ARGH! Last night I was playing Tactics and I was in this big battle. For some stupid ass reason, I changed my main characters job right before battle and forgot to freaking equip him with any armor, weapons, etc., because it removes them when you change jobs. I actually won the battle and figured I'd just equip him with stuff afterwards, since it took a long time to do. But NO! Immediately after that battle, it puts me in the first battle I've ever had to fight with JUSt the main guy! I didn't even get to equip him with anything! It was lame. So I have to re-do the first battle just because of that. I was so ticked last night I just turned off the darn thing. But I'll have plenty of time to play that game the next couple days at my grandma's house! So I won't be updating for a few days. Ciao

Boring day ...

Meh ... nothing insanely interesting happened today. Played a lot of Tactics Advance. Finally got my chick to be an assassin 8) And my other girl is a sniper now too. My blue mage is finally doing decent ... now just working on getting my dudes up to an illusionist and my other girl to an elementalist.

Since nothing else was happening, and my stepdad was watching that Lemony Snicket movie in the living room, I sat down and watched it too. It was alright. The special effects were great. Jim Carrey was annoying. I liked the kids though. The girl is a pretty decent actress; Angelina Jolie lips, and the boy would make a good classmate in the Harry Potter movies. He'll be a heartthrob when he's older.

Chi Chi (our chihuahua) also got a hold of some chocolate cake today so my stepdad had to give her medicine to make her throw it up :'( She's fine now, but extremely hyper from all that sugar! Crazy little dog ...

Tomorrow is gonna be fun! Gonna go up to Comp USA and get Mike a flash drive, then do some shoppin' at Gabriel Brothers. Haven't been there in a while. Maybe get some yummy chicken somewhere whilst in the vicinity ... ::drools::

Meh ... Tuesday night after work, which I get out at 10:30 pm, me and my mom have to drive up to my grandma's near Cleveland because she has eye surgery Wednesday morning. I love my grandma, and I'm glad to help her out in her times of need ... but it sucks that the rest of our family doesn't really do anything. I'm not gonna get into that though ... but we'll be up there till Thursday night. I have to open on Friday, yuck! Anyhoo .. I'm gonna try to get up at a really decent hour tomorrow because I didn't end up straightening my room like I should've. The weather is just too depressing. So ciao.

Up at a semi-decent hour o_O

Hehe, if a semi-decent hour is 1 pm lol ... didn't feel like coming online last night after work and talking to Mike on the phone until about 3 am. Meh .. I don't even want to talk about work ... me and Lee and the other girl that actually works bitch about it enough ... our manager is having a midlife crisis or something. I'm not going to go into specifics, but she did a total 180º from the person I thought she was. And she hired her best friend (supposedly training to be a manager at another store). I've had my friends put in applications, and of course they automatically get shunned because they're friends. This bitch is already getting more hours than any of us, and she's only been on the schedule for about 3 weeks. And she never works with any of us regular employees, she is always working with our manager. And um, it seems everytime they work together, nothing gets done! Me and Katie were busier Saturday night than they were Friday night, and we still managed to get more done! We all want to quit ... it sucks, because work used to be fun, working with anyone was fun, and now it's just depressing. Both of them look like they're trying to be teenagers ... it's really annoying. Mike says he's glad he quit before that whole debacle started. Hey, speaking of him ... I get to see him tomorrow but I miss him a lot right now ... especially last night after we got off the phone

It was my cousin's 20th birthday yesterday ... that means my 20th birthday is in 6 weeks because we're only 6 weeks apart ... I miss getting to hang out with my cousin. We're pretty much polar opposites when it comes to our likes and dislikes, but we still get along. We grew up together until I was about 13 and moved an hour and some minutes south of her, so that kinda screwed that up. She's the closest thing to a lifelong friend that I have. She grew up in the same house all her life o_O I can't imagine that. But me and Mike were talking last night about moving ... I've lived in this house longer than anywhere in my life! Let's see ...

Cleveland (London Road): Birth - 4 years
Eastlake (Iris Lane): 4 - 5 (also visited dad there from age 5 - 9, he lived there after my parents divorced)
Eastlake (Grandma's house): 5 - 6
Eastlake (Manor Park Apts.) 7
Akron (Springfield Township): 7 - 8
New Philadelphia (East Main): 9
New Philadelphia (12th St.): 9 - 10
Eastlake (Iris Lane again): 10
Eastlake (Grandma's house again) 11 - 13

Then we moved here in the middle of 8th grade! Of course I don't regret it though. When Mike picked me up the other day we also talked about my mom's ex boyfriend from Chattanooga, TN. It's so weird to think how 100% life would've been if she would've gotten with that guy. Heck, life would be 100% different if ANYTHING changed. I wouldn't have it any other way, of course 8)

I'm listening to a CD my friend burned for me junior year (would've been early 2002) ... it's got No Doubt from right around the time they started sucking (Hella Good ... last good song) ... Jamiroquai! That's an older song than 2002 but it's definitely one of my all time favorite songs ... here are the lyrics.

"Virtual Insanity" by Jamiroquai
Oh yeah what we’re living in (let me tell ya)
It’ a wonder man can eat at all
When things are big
That should be small
Who can tell what magic spells we’ll be doing for us.
And I’m giving all my love to this world
Only to be told
I can’t see, I can’t breathe
No more will we be
And nothing’s gonna change the way we live
Cos’ we can always take and never give
And now that things are changing for the worse,
See, it’s a crazy world we’re living in
And I just can’t see that half of us immersed in sin
Is all we have to give these

Futures made of virtual insanity
Now always seem, to be governed by this love we have
For useless, twisting of our new technology
Oh now there’s no sound for we all live underground

And I’m thinking in what a mess we’re in
Hard to know when to begin
If I could slip the sicly ties that earthly man has made
And now every mother can choose the color of her child
That’s not nature’s way
Well that´s what they said yesterday
There’s nothing left to do but pray
I think it’s time I found a new religion
Waoh it’s so insane to synthesize another strain
There’s something in these futures that we have to be told.

Futures made of virtual insanity
Now always seem, to be governed by this love we have
For useless, twisting of our new technology

Oh now there’s no sound for we all live underground
Now there’s no sound if we all live underground
And now it’s virtual insanity
Forget your virtual reality
Oh, there’s nothing so bad, I know yeah
Instrumental break
Oh, this virtual insanity, we’re living in,
Has got to change, yeah
Things will never be the same
And I can’t go on
While we’re living in oh, oh virtual insanity
Oh, this world has got to change
Cos I just, I just can’t keep going on, it was virtual,
Virtual insanity that we’re living in, that we’re living in
That virtual insanity is what it is

Futures made of virtual insanity
Now always seem, to be governed by this love we have
For useless, twisting of our new technology
Oh there’s no sound for we all live underground

Now "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails (the Static-X version, which rocks) is on ... this song fucking rules ... the first time I heard it was on a CD that my ex burned for me ... it's like, wow, how romantic, lol. Another good song ... "Trouble" by Coldplay. What else ... Beastie Boys' "Intergalactic"!! I know all the words to that one, haha ... Mike doesn't like the Beastie Boys; oh well  "Peaches" by the Presidents of the U.S.A.!!!!!! Mike found their old CD he had, oh my gosh, funniest but awesome music! Wow, I didn't realize that Michelle Branch song was so old! The one about walking downtown and a thousand miles... I hate this song now but I guess I liked it at the time, blah. Good old Alien Ant Farm with "Smooth Criminal" ... for some reason I actually bought their CD. It kinda sucked. Sweet!!! "Passenger" by the Deftones ... they were my friend Jon's favorite band junior year ... we had to make websites in web design class; I made one about Weezer, and he made one about them. We both liked Weezer .... they were my favorite band that year, but they are so commercial nowadays : Haha ... does anyone remember what "Passenger" was about? I'm not gonna say, but here are the lyrics.

"Passenger" by the Deftones
Here I lay
Still and breathless
Just like always
Still I want some more
Mirrors sideways
Who cares what's behind
Just like always
Still your passenger
Chrome buttons, buckles and leather surfaces
These and other lucky witnesses
Now to calm me
This time won't you please
Drive faster
Roll the windows down
This cool night air is curious
Let the whole world look in
Who cares who sees anything
I'm your passenger
I'm your passenger
Drop these down and
Put them on me
Nice cool seats
There to cushion your knees
Now to calm me
Take me around again
Just don't pull over
This time would you please drive faster
Roll the windows down
This cool night air is curious
Let the whole world look in
Who cares who sees what tonight
Roll these misty windows down
To catch my breath
And then go and go and go just drive me
Home and back again
Here I lay just like always
Don't let me go
Take me to the edge

Man, I love Linkin Park. I never get tired of them. But everyone loves them, which annoys the fuck out of me. A lot of stuff that I get into that is at least semi-obscure eventually ends up becoming a trend. "In the End" always reminds me *exactly* of my first ex. On the way back from the cabin the first time we went, back in January, we listened to Linkin Park .. I'm sitting next to Mike in the front seat, and it's like ... I don't want to listen to this sad music that makes me think of my ex! Sweet, I didn't know Marilyn Manson's "Dope Hat" was on here .. Mike doesn't like Manson ... and that's all that is on here! Was fun to listen to :D I have to straighten up my room a little bit because Mike's coming over tomorrow ... we are going to play "Amber" that he bought for me; it only runs on Windows 98 or lower. I guess that's one good thing about having a shitty computer. Windows XP is the devil  It looks like shit and runs shitty! Grr. Well, ciao for now.

Great day!

Today was actually a really good day! I woke up pretty tired since I didn't get to bed until about 5 am, and woke up at 8:30 am, but I got to work, got motivated, and actually did a decent amount of stuff; well, at least more than I have been doing lately. I was even nice to the UPS guy, lol, and he is a cranky guy sometimes.

Mike picked me up at 5:30 and we went to eat at the Heavenly Hash diner here in town! In the 6 1/2 years that we've lived here, I've never been there. It was really ... cozy! And the girl waitressing was a girl I knew from high school so it was cool to see her ... left her like a 40% tip, hehe.

After that we headed to Kent State to the planetarium ... got semi lost (it's us driving, of COURSE we are going to get lost; I actually think there's not been a time when we're driving somewhere neither of us have been and we haven't gotten a little misdirected at least!). We ended up parking in the same place that we did when we went to see Michael Moore back in October, but not to the same building. Anyhoo, we get there about a half hour early ... get a good seat ... and then this dad and his little brat kid sit RIGHT behind us. The kid was behind me and kept kicking my seat! I glared at Mike and he said I should switch seats but I didn't want to seem rude ... so we talked about them on our DS using pictochat, lol. The kid comes up to me and is like "WHATS YOUR NAME?!" and I told him and he kept asking me ... I just ignored him. Then more people started coming in and this couple was gonna sit in two seats next to us, but Mike piped up "We'll move down" so that we could get away from the kid! It ruled. Then the kid ends up scooting over and sitting behind Mike. He asks me AGAIN over and over what my name is, and the kids dad FINALLY says that the show is about to start so he better sit down, so I gently nudge the kid and tell him he oughta sit down ... lol little bastard. Then the kid finally did, and he wouldn't shut his trap while the speaker was talking, so the dad picked him up and they left! Even the speaker was happy they left, lol. It was SO GREAT. Mike and I did a couple victory gestures and then enjoyed the show. The planetarium itself is kinda old so the technology wasn't the greatest, but he focused on the death and rebirth of stars, black holes, and nebulas. Showed some gorgeous nebula pictures! I used to be REALLY into astronomy when I was 9 up until I was in high school ... it reminded me of how much I love the night sky and learning about outer space. If I was decent at math, I'd love to be an astronomer. But that'll never happen :|

Afterwards we went back to his house ... enjoyed ourselves immensely (a couple times) and started to watch "Spirited Away", one of our favorite movies. But he had to bring me back home before it was over -_- I was maybe gonna be able to stay over his house, but his stepdad didn't end up going somewhere like he was supposed to so I couldn't :| And I gotta work tomorrow evening, bleh! Might get to work with Lee though so it's not a total travesty :) I actually haven't played Tactics all day, so I'm gonna go lay down and do that. Lata gatas

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance obsession.

Blah ... I'm too lazy to upload those front loader pics right now ... lol .. just got home from work. Boring day as usual. Played Tactics a lot lately as I said ... I printed out a chart of all the different classes you can get and decided a job for each of my clan members and am going to work on getting them all toward it. My chick finally turned into a sniper so now I'm working on making her an assassin ... got a sweet paladin and am also working on an illusionist and a blue mage, at least those are the ones I'm most looking forward to. Anyhoo I know nobody cares about that, hehe. I wanted to make a dude named Simon my illusionist because it'd be a joke on "Simon says" (at least to me) but he's better off as the blue mage ... Julian shall be my illusionist. Stupid old Douglas the Paladin, lol ... and Colette is gonna be a sweet assassin. All the vieras have cool names ... except it spells the one chick's name Jacqulin, which seems mispelled ... Mike is unhappy with some of the character art for Final Fantasy 12. Says all the dudes look metrosexual. Heck, almost every guy besides Cid and the shopowners look girly in Tactics! Then again I'm not that far into the game. Anyway, I'm glad I accomplished my chart, it'll help me build a balanced clan 8)

I also have to open tomorrow at work -.- But then me and Mike are going to the planetarium! I'm really excited about that. He has to do it for his astronomy class and I get to tag along, like I did to the Shakespeare thing :D I'm really tired right now, but my mom wants me to go with her to my sister's again ... ::bites lip:: I might just go to bed instead, lol :X So that's it for me for now. Ciao.

Long, long, LONG day.

Blah! Talk about messed up sleep patterns ... didn't end up getting to sleep until at least 4 am this morning, then got up a little after 6 am to go to my sister's with my mom ... she's doing a lot better. We talked with her neurologist and they are interested in doing some new tests on her that will help determine exactly why she has cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Mostly tests to determine if it was genetic, something messed up a chromosome while she was in utero, things like that. It will be pretty interesting; if it's something genetic, it may be something I have to worry about when I have kids. Hopefully not, though. Went to Payless and got her some Hello Kitty shoes and a little Hello Kitty bag to put on the back of her wheelchair too :D Fell asleep when we got home around 1 pm and slept till 4:30 when my mom woke me up to come downstairs because of a storm warning. She's paranoid about storms.

I have played WAY too much Tactics ... let's see ... I've got nearly 19 hours logged, my main dude, Airyx, is level 12, my clan (Warrior Clan Bebop) is level 15, cleared 58 missions, and my favorite party members are Montblanc (kept him as a black mage, level 11) and Colette (level 10 archer). I need to work on just battles with other clans to level everyone up evenly. I'm trying to get a lot vieras (awesome rabbit looking chicks). I know it doesn't seem like much time, but in between work, Mike, and only playing this for not quite a week, I'd say that's a lot of time X) Mike taught me a lot of stuff about it, he beat the game a while ago. Since the two save slots are next to each other when I save, I'm paranoid that I'm accidentally gonna save over his game :X At least Tactics is giving me something to play on my DS until a good new game comes out for it ...

I'll have to post the front loader pictures later tonight ... Mike hasn't been online yet. He said I look like I belong in that thing the way I drove it, lol. It was tons of fun! It was hard to get the hang of it at first because there were levers on both sides of me to control it but man it ruled. Mike's stepdad Dan was really cool about letting my drive it. The woods behind their house oddly had a fire going on and burned up some random things back there ... it was so gorgeous yesterday, and I heard it's supposed to be really crummy this weekend! Blah! I'm sick of this weather. I told Mike when we go to Hawaii in the winter that I'm only paying for a one way ticket, lol ...

Oh yeah, they elected the new Pope. While I think it's a good thing that they elected a Pope who shares traditional values like John Paul II did, this Pope is already 78 years old ... the late Pope was elected at 58. But anyway, it seems to have made some Catholics upset that this Pope won't be more liberal on things such as abortion and birth control. Also heard something funny on the radio today ... a women's activist group supports abortion, but is against silicone breast implants or something because it could harm the fetus. That kills me! Abortion has a 100% chance of harming the fetus, while these breast implants do not ... I was tired when I was listening to it but I think people know what I mean. A true feminist would be a woman who supports herself and her child. They are probably against the implants because if they were for them, it would make them look bad since implants are just to get guy's attention. Meh, I'm googly today, but I made my point. Anyhoo, I'm gonna go call Mike and maybe upload those pictures later tonight, but I have to get up early tomorrow to go to work -_- Ciao

Can't post much ...

I can't tie up the phone line tonight because my sister has been in the hospital again and they might need to call. But I jumped on for a few moments.

Today was great! Me and Mike's 5 month anniversary :D When he picked me up, we grabbed Chi Chi and he had Eddie the Chinese Crested (so cute! Dog is totally hairless except for the top of his head, which has white hair, his ears have black hair, and his feet have a little bit of white hair) ... stopped at K-Mart in Barberton to get him a collar and get some treats for them ... and Mike gave me a necklace!!! It's so pretty; it has a silver chain and a pink crystal heart pendant. We were talking on the way back about silver and gold and we agreed silver is elegant, gold is gaudy. Then he said something like "Imagine having silver instead of gold wedding rings" I'm like O_O "Heehee nothing wrong with that!" <3>
Anyhoo took the dogs for walks around Lake Anne ... was really warm today ... I drove a front loader today too! A small piece of construction equipment. I'll have pictures tomorrow. Had a lot of fun in that regard tonight as well ... all in all a good day. I'll post more funny parts tomorrow but I can't stay online, plus I gotta go play more Tactics. 28 missions cleared so far! 8) Ciao!

Tired tired ...

Oh man ... as I posted, Lee and I didn't sleep at all .. ended up making it until Lee dropped me off at about 5:30 pm today and I craaashed into my bed! Got up somehow at ten to call Mike. Still pretty tired, though ... stayed up nearly 30 hours straight!

So ... went to my high school this morning ... the secretary in the guidance office still recognized me and it's been like two years :D Sent my transcripts over to Stark ... when we got to Stark there were so many people in the admissions office, so I'm gonna fill out the application online; plus I was in no state to be interviewed after getting no sleep! So I picked up all the necessary paperwork ... then Cole skipped her noon class and we went over to Borders where I found an awesome lenticular Fruits Basket poster for only $6! Went to the mall also where I spent ENTIRELY too much money! Let's see ...

$20.00 sandals & Hello Kitty backpack
$14.00 Pulp Fiction shirt & clearance necklace
$10.00 earrings & headband
$20.00 Trigun shirt for Mike
$20.00 miscellaneous gas/food expenditures

Ridiculous ... we did go to Cold Stone Creamery (I think that's what it's called) and I got to make my own ice cream! I had them put the cookie dough thingies into some chocolate ice cream with sprinkles and it was soooo good ... not $5 good that I paid, but really yummy.

Blah I feel like crap ... sick of this shitty computer, mad that I spent so much money ... tomorrow will be better I'm hoping, hopefully it's as nice tomorrow as it was today! I'm gonna bop outta here ... ciao.

No sleep O_O

Throwing in an entry here .. lmao Lee and I were up all night talking about stuff I can't believe we didn't sleep! We were gonna get up at 7:30 am anyway (its about 7 am now) so we figured might as well just stay up ... so I'm chillin' with their cats ... Freckles is this brown speckled squinty eyed cat and then there's like 5 other cats lounging around, lol .... ahhh gonna be so tired tonight but oh well! We're a coupla blabbermouths and can't shut up about our respective significant others! Fuzzle my puzzle ... fucking Mark Martin poster .... we graduated from St. Ida's LMAO omg ... I'm gonna die later ....

Eventful few days :)

Hmm, I haven't updated for a few days! Let's see ... went to work Saturday, BLAH! I hate work anymore. Our manager is acting like such a teenager ... she started smoking (who starts smoking at 36?), she lost a ton of weight (which is good for her, but she lost it really rapidly), and started tanning (which makes her look all leathery, ew!) and is just acting like a snob. She hired her BEST FRIEND (who she is LIVING with) and is already giving her the same amount of hours as the people who've worked there over a year and a half (me and Lee) ... she's letting our store go to shambles ... me, Lee, and another girl are looking for other jobs ... so her three main employees are gonna leave her all at once! We think it's rather amusing.

But, Mike picked me up after work Saturday night because his folks went to the cabin :D It's so nice spending the night with him ... haha apparently he was hitting me while we were asleep because he said this morning I said "DON'T!" angrily and he was all drowsy and I said he was punching me, lol ... we watched the Newlywed Game on TV and we were answering the questions along with the show; he said something silly and I bonked him ... and said "Hey, we're not on that show yet, don't act like that!" because the couples on the show say funny things to each other ... he's like "Did you just propose to me?" I'm like "NO!" and he's like "Well it wasn't a very good one .. " We picked up a couple old Nickelodeon vids from his dad's house the other day; we watched a "Doug" video and "Clarissa Explains It All"! Saved the Ren and Stimpy Christmas episode for another day, with Stinky! Hehe ... I saw the South Park movie for the first time Saturday night too, rofl .. awesome movie. "What what WHAT?!" "That's what Brian Boitano'd do!"

Haha anyway also worked tonight. Right now I'm at Lee's house though because tomorrow we're gonna go to my high school and get transcripts, and then head over to Stark State and do some paperwork. Really need to get college stuff done! Cole goes to Stark so she's gonna show us around a bit. I've been there before but it's been like two years.... Tuesday me and Mike are gonna take our dogs for walks :D Hopefully it's nice out ... ciao!

Meh...

What a blah day ... Mike picked me up and we went straight to his dad's house; I've never been there before ... weirdly it's right down the road from my ex's grandma in Chippewa Lake ... so we all took his dogs for a walk along the lake and chatted. Then me and Mike went through some of his old stuff, like games, books, movies, and pictures/books. I stole his Zelda guidebook, Link figure, Zelda music CD, Squall and Rinoa figures, and a couple Pokemon guidebooks, hehe. He also got my "Amber: Journeys Beyond" PC game in the mail today!! I've been trying to find it cheap on eBay for months, literally, and he surprised me with it! We were browsing eBay together the other night and I was gonna bid on an "Amber" and he's like "*sigh* I got it for you and was gonna surprise ya ..." But it still was really a surprise! I'm gonna install that after this :D

We also had a bit of a spat which I won't divulge here ... it was pretty upsetting to me, we didn't speak for a couple hours, he went for a walk ... then we cooled down and talked it out. Quite a long discussion. And of course made up afterwards X) He says really sweet things to me that I don't know how to return sometimes, I need to come up with a pet name for him I think O_o

Anyhoo, that was today, gonna put in "Meet the Fockers" I think since we uh, didn't end up watching it. Later gators.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance O_o

Wow ... this game is a lot of fun! I know I'm late jumping on the bandwagon for it ... I've never been a big RPGer but this game is great! The music is really good too. I've only completed 11 missions but I'm having a fun time! Montblanc is so cute! I named my dude Airyx, after the alternate name Vash uses in an episode of Trigun ... not sure how you spell it, but I thought that looked coolest. Mike said they're coming out with a version of Lunar for the DS! And they're coming out with a new Four Swords for DS! Whoo!

I'm not gonna bitch too much about my mom ... besides she thinks I don't care about my sister because I didn't go visit her ... hello? No one asked me to go, I can't drive myself, and no one even told me where she WAS! For crying out loud - not to mention I'm not a fan of hospitals anyway, and seeing her seizure like that probably would've made me really really upset.

Not much going on today, Mike's gonna be here in a little bit and we might go to his dad's house. Gonna watch "Meet the Fockers" and "House of Flying Daggers" later probably ... we got nearly TWICE as many "Ocean's Twelve" DVDs at work compared to "Meet the Fockers." How does that make sense?! Our distributor also sent us nearly 100 "Fat Albert" DVDs ... what does that say, lol.

Well I'm addicted to FFTA now. Mike is gonna have to deal with it X) Ciao!

Adventure!

Today was pretty good! When I got to Mike's house, I took a shower, hehe since ours isn't functioning ... it's like taking a shower in a hotel or something ... glass doors, stone floor, six showerheads ... would've rather taken it with him but it's that time, lol ...

Didn't get much news of improvement about my sister. It's almost 4 am and my mom hasn't sent me anything since about 6 pm, telling me she was having more seizures and that she would be getting another dose of medicine at 7 pm. But my stepdad is home and hasn't said anything bad, so I'm assuming everything is under control.

Me and Mike went on an adventure today! His stepdad owns a ton of property behind their house so we took a really long walk ... from about 6:15 to ... around dusk, I think ... we saw deer, an otter (river runs back there), some crazy unidentified animal, and a SKULL! There was a small skull which his stepdad thinks belongs to a pig or something. It was nuts! I was not wearing the correct shoes for the event though ... lol and the woods are flooded and swampy ... we were walking around outside the woods mostly, but we tried to cut through the woods and went ::PLFFF:: into this NASTY stuff and got our shoes really gross ... one of his dogs tagged along with us though and she was chasing all kinds of little mice and running around trying to jump in the river ... it was such a gorgeous evening though. We even ran for a little bit because we ran into a dead end, and had to make up for lost time because it was getting late, hehe. Other than that it was a pretty normal night. Went into Wal-Mart at 2 am which is always fun. We talked about on the way back to my house about work ... and how funny it is that if neither of us had gotten hired there, we probably would've never met. And if neither of our mothers had met our stepdads and the men hadn't brought them to the rinky village we live in, which neither of us are native to and probably had never even heard of, we wouldn't have met either. So great how life turns out sometimes. :)

Well, it's pretty late so I'm gonna get some sleep. Ciao.

P.S. Did you know that the government takes 30% of small business owner's earnings?!?! Mike and I were talking about taxes tonight and his dog breeding is considered a small business. They have the kennel, have to consider transportation and write-offs, buying the food, etc. THIRTY PERCENT! That's nearly 1/3! And what does it go towards? They say it goes to social security, which is a fucking joke as it is, but it's all going towards the damn war. Fucking dictatorship is what this is. I don't know how there isn't an uprising over this!

Difficulties ... prayers needed. (updated)

Well, today started out well enough. Left at 12:30 for Pat Catan's in Medina with Mike and his mom. Meandered around there, wandered over to Gamestop and played DK Jungle Beat which was actually fun ... went to Kohl's where Mike got some new shoes and swim trunks ... I've never actually shopped with a guy in the clothes section, so it was kind of weird and made me think of how Mike must feel when he is shopping with me, lol - boring! But guy's clothes are all so similar looking. After that, went over to Hobby Lobby and looked at the pretty furniture and decor ... ate at the Steak & Shake in Medina which SUCKED! No comparison to the Fairlawn one ...

Came home, hopped online, confirmed with David and headed over to his house to pick up my computer. I'm really grateful to him for fixing it! So immediately after that I go to work, and around 7 pm my mom calls me and tells me that my sister has been having a series of bad seizures and is hooked up to oxygen, and they can't take her off. My mom has been there since then, and it's almost 4 am now. She sent me a message about a half hour ago saying she is staying the night because she is not doing well. My sister's whole life has been making it through situations like this. My sister has cerebral palsy and epilepsy. The scary/sad thing is ... every time she has seizure, she loses more of her brain function. That's what my mom told me a few years ago, at least. She is 23. I don't know ... I of course love my sister with all my heart, but in my life I have been relatively distant ... it's very hard for me to deal with, although I should be strong. When we visit, I like to sit with her and me and my mom joke and talk and she laughs ... I don't have any pictures on this computer (the one David fixed is in the car, hence with my mom for the moment) of her, but I can tell that when people do see pictures of her, they balk because she doesn't have much control of where she looks, or at all, how she looks. She's so pretty ... beautiful long blonde hair and big brown eyes. She looks most like my dad, and I look like my mom. But if you were to stand her up, since she doesn't walk, she would probably only be somewhere less than five feet tall, since she doesn't stretch. She also wears about a size 3 in shoes since she doesn't walk on them. For most people, it's hard to put a face on disabled adults, but for me, she is my sister who has a birthday exactly three years and four months before mine.

So, if you are so inclined, my family and I would much appreciate any prayers anyone has to offer. Good thoughts, etc. I'm just glad that my mom can be there with her. Unlike my father who won't even claim her as a daughter when asked ... that fucking asshole ... as my friend Justin counseled me, he doesn't even deserve to be around me and my sister.

Goodnight.

UPDATE: Well, my sister is doing better now. She started having worse seizures so they took her to the hospital. They discovered there that she was NOT given two doses of her anti-seizure medication! That is unbelievable! I hope they SEVERELY discipline whoever is responsible for getting her medication to her. All the kids that live with my sister are in the same shape; dependent on medication. That pisses me off so bad ... but now they have her doped up on some phenobarb and more of her medication, so she is mostly zonked out. I had this terrible dream ... that my mom called me and told me that her head snapped off .. isn't that the most gruesome thing ever? I find that highly disturbing ... I don't know why I would dream something like that!

Well, Mike is gonna be here in about 20 minutes and our damn hot water heater or whatever is acting up so I can't even take a damn shower. What else is new, something not working ... ciao.

Run Lola Run!

Besides posting that Nintendo thing earlier, today has been a good day! Me and Mike went into Wadsworth to snag a few things ... I watched "Run Lola Run" on TV Sunday and LOVED it so we rented that so he could see it; said he'd been wanting to for a while. That's one of my favorite movies now ... I guess I'll spoil it, so be warned ... it's a German movie about a girl and her boyfriend. He is a drug runner. Through a series of events, he loses $100,000 (well, German marks) and only has 20 minutes to get that money, or he'll most likely be killed by the "boss" of the drug ring. So he calls Lola and tells her that she has 20 minutes to figure out how to help him. She starts booking out the door ... runs to her dads bank, but he won't help her. Also, while Lola is running, she bumps/runs past random people ... the movie then cuts to a series of still shots showing what happened to these people afterwards, such as them getting married, comitting suicice, etc. But by the time she finally gets to her boyfriend, she is too late, and he has started to rob a grocery store in a desperate attempt to get the money. She helps him, and while they're trying to escape, get caught by the cops. Her boyfriend tosses the money in the air, and in surprise one of the cops shoots Lola right in the chest on accident. This is totally shocking when you see it. She is lying there, and the movie cuts to a scene of her and her boyfriend in bed talking about love and life. Then, cuts back to her lying on the ground, and she says "No .. I don't want to go now ... stop." Then all of a sudden we are back at the beginning of the movie! Lola decides to do things differently this time around. I'm not going to say the rest of the movie; I only ruined about the first half hour, lol. But it shows her making different decisions, and it also shows the same people she ran into the first time, and how a couple seconds difference changes things. It's so interesting; how one little tiny thing can change the whole course of your life. Nothing is coincidence! Probably one of my favorite things to discuss is weird events and coincidences. I highly recommend the movie, but it's in German, for you people who don't like to read subtitles. But I'm going to bed now. Gotta get up in about 5 hours to go to Pat Catan's with Mike and his mom. Goodnight!

P.S. Did anyone notice it costs tbucks to delete entries? I noticed I lost some after I deleted a few uninteresting entries. Kind of annoying -.-

Personalized letter from Nintendo!

Check out this email that my mom got from Nintendo! She sent them this letter:

"I purchased for my daughter the DS for Christmas last year. While she love it at first, now it mainly sits on her desk. Why? Because she complains of the lack of games ( especially for girls/young adult females, she is 19 ).
She has also mentioned on numerous occasions about some wi-fi thing about internet connection? Please, for the love of pete, tell me you will get a connection up and running and ,ake more games. I spent my hard earned money on that and all it does it sit.
But hey, we love Nintendo at our house! Best games systems around!
Thanks!"

And received this from Nintendo in return:

"Thank you for your e-mail. We were sorry to hear that your daughter is disappointed with the lack of games for the Nintendo DS. We appreciate your feedback regarding this system and we'll be sure to pass along your comments to the appropriate department for further review.

It may help you to understand that we set out to do something unique with the Nintendo DS. Rather than just release the same types of games that you can play on your home console (which looks like the route the PSP may be going initially), we wanted to create games that are truly different, as well as really fun to play. With the DS, we have accomplished this goal, however, it will take some time to build up a vast library of games that you can choose from. But I can assure you that we are not out to disappoint any of our loyal fans. That is why we are working harder than ever to see to it that the innovative and fun games that you expect from us are on their way to the system.

Also, your daughter may be interested to know that we've just announced a free Wi-Fi connection service for Nintendo DS owners. While we're not sure yet how this will impact current games or the PictoChat feature of the DS, the Wi-Fi protocol will provide users with a link to other players across the country or around the world. Once the service begins later this year, DS users will be able to connect to the service wirelessly at Wi-Fi hot spots, whether they're at home, in a hotel or at a coffee shop. As one of several Wi-Fi games, Nintendo's in-house development team is creating a new Animal Crossing game for global Wi-Fi play.

As we head towards this year's E3 show in May, you can expect that we'll have some surprises up our sleeve that will keep Nintendo DS fans happy that they chose our system over our competitors. I know it can be tough to wait, but I promise you that you that your daughter won't be disappointed with what we have to offer DS players.

I hope that you find this information helpful!

Nintendo of America Inc.
Greg Hamilton"

Isn't that awesome?! A really nice letter written specifically to my mom. I thought it was so nice that they wrote all that out, and it definitely helped me keep my cool.

Well, I have to finish getting ready; my cousin cut and colored my hair for me last night; this is it's second wash, hoping it doesn't get lighter on me already, lol ... she's so awesome, I had to buy the dye and all the other stuff, but it was only $20. Plus I trust her more than a stranger!

Later.

Beautiful day/evening!

Today was probably one of my favorite days me and Mike spent together! While it started out kind of crummily, it soon improved. We were trying to take my computer to David's house but it's been since like summer of 2003 since I was over there and I forgot how to get there .< I'm terrible with directions and remembering where people live! But since we ended up in Wadsworth, we went to Wal-Mart and got some dog food ... three 45 lbs bags of dog food only lasts Mike like a week! It's insane how much 25 lil dogs can eat!>
After that we went and got ice cream :D They put nuts on my sundae though -_- We went to a park in Wadsworth and ate our yummies there ... walked around the park, invaded a child-filled playground area, and then walked to the residential area and visited his grandma! She was SO nice! She gave me two big hugs and said I should talk more next time I see her X) Hehe ... then we walked back to the truck and I drove it for a little bit ... he has a HUGE truck, and it was really weird; I've never driven bigger than my mom's Intrepid ... when we got back to his house around 7:30 - 8 we played some basketball ... rofl he beat me at Horse ... then we jumped on his trampoline for a while and I almost killed myself, lol X( ... laid out there for a bit until it got too mosquito-y ... plus I remembered I left my purse outside and some of those foster kids tend to be kleptos ... then we went inside and played more Four Swords, and just generally had a really good night. They have like peacock feathers in their bathroom and discovered that those feel reallllly nice

::sad sigh:: Him and Jerome leave on Friday for Athens ... hopefully it's nice on Saturday so that the trip isn't mostly a waste. He said he'll buy me something ... I think I'm gonna give him my cell phone so he can give me a call while he's down there :) Not like I ever use the damn thing. Tomorrow we're going to the Shakespeare thing, then heading to Fairlawn to get him some shoes and me some sandals, and trade some games in at EB probably ... gonna be a good day. This weekend will be fun though, me and my mom are going to the movies Friday night, which we haven't done in a while. So while he's gone I won't be too bored, hehe.

A piece of my filling fell out today! I hate teeth so much ... mine totally suck. Soft enamel and I've got that underbite ... bleh. More money that I DON'T have to pay a dental bill since I don't have insurance -_-

Well, nothing else noteworthy and I've gotta open at work in the morning ... so I shall post later ... ciao

I'm not a billboard!

It's like 75º out and I'm sitting in here at my computer ... what is wrong with me?? LOL. I guess I'm just not really that much of an outdoors person. Or, I'm sooo pale that I look like a big white blob when I'm outside in the bright sunlight ...

Me and my mom just got back from the thrift store and I somehow managed to find three awesome tanktops! It won't be warm enough on a regular basis till June, but man, can't beat $1.50 a piece for really cute tank tops; one I'm wearing now is even American Eagle ... it has some obnoxious American Eagle tag on the side though, so I'll have to take that off ... I try to make it a point that I don't shop at stores like that! I am not a walking billboard  I definitely have limits to what I spend on clothing ... no more than $30 for a pair of jeans (try to stay between $15 - $20, no more than $15 for a short sleeve-ish type top (unless it has some kind of meaning to me, like a band shirt or something), and no more than $20 for a long sleeve shirt. I know that was drawn out, hehe ... but I just don't understand why people feel the need to shop at name brand stores. I have never shopped at Abercrombie, that Hollister shit, or American Eagle. I've browsed Old Navy and Weathervane before, but only when they have stuff on sale. What is so great about a shirt that has a store name plastered all over it? "Oh look, I spend a ridiculous amount of money on this shirt and these pants that are faded and ripped artificially and look like they came from the thrift store." How awesome!!! Especially that crap about faded/torn pants, wow, that's SO hardcore. Especially when it's so obvious that the rips are fake. I don't need a fucking brand name to tell the world who I am. And all of this backlash is what Hot Topic is about, but they're just as bad! Charging ridiculous prices so people can look punk/goth/emo. When all of their stuff looks like it could be made if you wanted to throw a couple zippers and fishnet material on a shirt/pants/skirt. There's a Hot Topic up at the Great Lakes Mall in Mentor that is actually pretty decent because it focuses on music mostly (which is what Hot Topic was started as anyway, mostly about music) but the one in the local mall is just popular punk crap. If I've gotta shop at the mall, I'd rather go to Rave when they've got a sale, but of course there's not a Rave in the mall near here. And Wet Seal is just ridiculous, they've got some semi-cute shit, but those prices! Give me the damn thrift store anyday. And Gabriel Brothers! That store is the shit. They carry a brand of pants called YMI that fit me like a freaking glove. And they're only like $15 a piece! The suggested price on the tag is $50 something. Of course you've gotta make sure what you buy doesn't have any irregularities or anything but usually everything is decent. Their shoes are a little pricey though ...

I finished watching "Mr. 3000" with Bernie Mac last night. Pretty good movie. Bernie Mac rules. Makes me wanna watch "Bad(der) Santa" again; holy shit, that is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. At the video store I work in, we had this awesome Buy 2 Get 2 free sale on our DVDs ... but since I get free rentals, I can never seem to bring myself to pay for movies! I was gonna buy "Saw", "Butterfly Effect", "Saved!" (one of my favorite movies of last year), "Super Size Me" (best documentary ever, watched it at least 20 times since it came out in September, I actually didn't eat fast food from like late September to October 24th or whatever when I went to see Michael Moore with Mike ... we had to get something to eat on the way home .. powerful and hilarious movie), "Before Sunset", "Shattered Glass", "About Schmidt", and "Spellbound." That last one is a documentary about spelling bees! I used to be hardcore into those in middle school. I was pretty good, got second place in like the region ... I don't even remember the word I missed, but that stupid kid that won got such an easy word ...

Anyway, I gotta go get ready, Mike's gonna be here in about an hour. A bientôt!

Pug Pictures and randomness...

Well, today was a pretty good day! Got up at like 3:15 pm and left for work at 3:30 X) Worked with Lee and it was a lot of fun, probably the best day I've had at work since the last time I worked with Mike, hehe. Cole came and bugged us for a while  No customer disputes or overly busy-ness ... but yeah ... nothing really to note ... but I do have some pretty cute pictures from last night at Mike's house with that adorable pug that he had to sell ... well at least he got like $400+ out of it's cuteness 8)

But first, I gotta rant about this. I don't understand why people get giant Easter presents. I mean, yay, I'm glad you got something, but especially when they're not even religious or follow any kind of doctrine. Same goes for Christmas. It's just hypocritical. And Easter is such a weird holiday to get something, anyway.

EDIT: I just finished watching "Sideways" (I love being able to watch movies before they're released, working at a video store rox). I had wanted to see it when it was first out in theatres, but then there was that whole wine tasting hooplah and crap so I was kind of bitter (haha get it, wine ..) ... but anyway, minus this NASTY ass dude/chick banging and this fat guy running around with his dick flapping towards the end, it actually was pretty good. I really enjoyed the cinematography as well. I liked Sandra Oh, who played Stephanie. I didn't like, however, the one character who was getting married and wanted to get laid and party the week beforehand. He practically fell in love with another woman and didn't tell her he was getting married. Men piss me off sometimes ... but anyway, I recommend it. I like the meaning behind the name of the movie a lot too ... not moving forward in life, but moving sideways ... but finally at the end things look up ...

But on with teh cuteness!!!!1

Introducing ... cutest pug puppy evar!

And my absolute most favorite picture EVER - Mike (w/out glasses, a rarity) and the pug!

So that's it! And Mike went to see "Sin City" tonight with some friends and said he'd be willing to see it again if I wanted to .. then mentioned an excessive amount of hooker/stripper nudity so I have decided to wait till it comes out on video -_-

Ciao!
