Hopefully not a crummy day ...
I do need to straighten up my room since Mike is staying over tonight. I gotta work tonight though too :[ But we get to wear pajamas again like yesterday ... I wore my big fuzzy slipper boots and I think 4 out of 5 people said how funny/cute they were. The Star Wars cosplayers that came in last night were SO awesome ... I wish I'd gotten pictures. They used our backroom to change in because the one guy is a really good customer and they needed a room to keep their stuff. He said he wished his wife had a pair of my boots hehe. A woman had this Jedi outfit that was simply amazing - said she made it out of a Simplicity pattern! I'm gonna have to look into that ... it rocked.
Welp, I guess I'd better straighten up. Then tomorrow morning, me, Mike, Cole, and Lee are going kayaking! We went last year around this same time; hopefully this time will be as good ... or better, since a guy that came with us last year was a total grump -_- Ciao!
A TON of pictures!!!

Me, Mike's mom and stepdad at Gatorland!

The giant hat at MGM/Disney!

Me at Blizzard Beach in front of an ice sculpture!

A stupid picture Mike took at La Quinta!

I love that hat!

Mike looking cute in front of the giant golf ball!

Aren't I precious?

Mike while we were on a ride!

Inside the Star Wars/Tours ride!

A funny picture I got of Mike underwater!

Us in front of one of those things at Epcot!

Mike in front of the most complete T-Rex skeleton in the world!

Us on the beach!

Us in front of a totem pole!

Us in front of some castle thing in Epcot!
Hope you enjoyed!
Gonna be a boring day today too.
Meh ... I'm supposed to open Sunday morning and I don't want to, but I still don't want to give the hours to my coworker, because I really do need them. I'm gonna be all sore from going kayaking the previous day, so that blows. And now there's all this problem with Mike wanting to hang out with his friends Friday night but we've gotta get up early to go kayaking Saturday morning. He should just hang out with them Saturday night, we'll be back in time ... why does everything have to be so damn complicated -_- And money issues ...
I guess I should quit my bitchin and finish the laundry. Ciao.
A rather uneventful day.
I'm watching "Pirates of the Silicon Valley", a movie about how Apple and Microsoft got started. It's a made for TV movie I think, but I think it's really awesome. Noah Wyle kind of reminds me of a mix between my dad and Mike ... actually almost exactly. That's kind of creepy.
Well, I'm gonna go lay down and play some "Golden Sun" ... ciao.
Another good few days :)
Around 2 pm I went grocery shopping with Mike and his mom, and got the supplies to make zucchini bread. It turned out really good - not exactly like my grandmas recipe since this called for some lemon peel, but everyone really liked it. Mike made some really delicious spaghetti and his stepdad cooked some fried zucchini. It was a "culinary delight" as Mike's mom put it
Then this morning we had to get out of the house because his stepdad didn't know i stayed over. Ate McDonald's breakfast around 10 am ... went to a bookstore ... then just generally hung out for the rest of the day. It was really hot, humid, and stormy (still is) today but we managed to bicycle for a few minutes and inspect their garden. But other than that ... Mike's mad because I won't watch "Constantine" with him ... we saw it in the theatre and I liked it at the time, but ... it's not a movie I can re-watch
By the way, "The Daily Show" sucks these days. They got a new set, Jon Stewart got a shitty haircut, and he just seems grouchy anymore. He's like my favorite dude on TV so it makes me kinda sad. But most TV sucks these days so what can you do -_-
Going to make a dentist appointment and go job hunting tomorrow. Ciao!
I hate my job.
Now I'm watching my very favorite movie, "Clerks." It reminds me SO much of my life and people in it. If you haven't seen it I can't even describe it. But the video store clerk ... oh my gosh, CRACKS me up. Like people who ask what the New Releases are when we've got a board that says them and a whole WALL of them. Randal is the best character. "I'm a firm believer in a ruling class. Especially since I rule."
Alright, well, nothing else much happened today. I've been rather grouchy. Someone did come in wearing a Rainforest Café shirt from Orlando today, which I though that was rather ironic since we were there last week.
I forgot to add earlier ... I've been telling Mike and his mom that I'm gonna make zucchini bread out of the zucchini they were growing in their garden when it was ripe. Well, they called me out on it, lol. Mike informed me on the phone today that I was cooking it tomorrow and that his mom was gonna buy the ingredients  So that was pretty nice! Ingredients get expensive ... when I cooked chicken at the cabin, it was about $20 for all that chicken and the proper ingredients. Unfortunately, when I last spoke to my grandma she told me that her recipes went missing ... and she's the one who used to make me the zucchini bread T_T So I'll just have to go with a regular recipe and hope it turns out as good as my grandmas!
RANDAL: You know who I can do without? I could do without the people in the video store.
DANTE: Which ones?
RANDAL: All of them.
(MONTAGE INSERT #1/VIDEO JERKS: A series of people addressing the camera, asking the dumb
questions.)
FIRST: What would you get for a six-year-old boy who chronically wets his bed?
SECOND: (in front of stocked new release shelf)Do you have any new movies in?
THIRD: Do you have that one with the guy who was in that movie that was out last year?

RANDAL: And they never rent quality flicks; they always pick the most intellectually devoid movie on the rack.

A great coupla days!
This morning we woke up around 9:30 am to go to Mount Hope (30-40 minutes from here) for a supposed dog auction, but it ended up being pointless. So we got some lunch at Hardee's (that place sucks! They made us sit down and wait for our food for like 10 minutes!) and hung around at the house. We were in the living room watching a special about shark attacks .... I thank God that we were not bitten by a shark the day we were at Sanibel Island. These were the factors playing into us likely being bitten: 1) The waters were somewhat murky since a storm had riled them up the day before. 2) There were TONS of birds flying around us, feeding. 3) We were the only people swimming in our area. 4) They actually put up a sign warning tourists of sharks, which they only do in serious conditions because it can scare people away. We assumed they just did that all the time, since someone had been bit within that month. And last but not least 5) Someone had sighted a shark with 100 yards of the beach. Yeah. We're a coupla dumbasses! But hey, we somehow got out of that!
Today we also made some more wonderful love 8) Mike is just too tall T_T It's hard to do certain things we want to do X( But later on we hung out with Jerome and took a walk in some pokey woods to a waterfall that was pretty cool. We also took some bikes out to Mike's woods and rode around ... it was dusk and getting really dark ... and we heard these coyotes REALLY close to us. I was scared out of my head, but we had to keep going. It was so dark, luckily I had Jerome's white shoes pedaling in front of me, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to navigate. :(
But overall the past two days were a lot of fun; yesterday being really affectionate. :) We hung out with his mom and stepdad and talked for an hour or two about Florida, Mike's stepdad's crazy stories ... looked at the parasailing pictures ... Mike gave me all the pictures except the digital camera ones, but I'm too lazy to resize them on my computer, especially tonight ... I gotta get up at 8 am! So goodnight!
Parasailing Pictures! (updated!)

Here's us getting readyto be lifted off over the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico/Atlantic Ocean/whatever you wanna call it off Key West! I am nervous as hell!

On our way up they dipped us into the water. It was really warm, not too clear, but still really beautiful.

Here we are just floating ... I don't know high up we went, but it was far enough that if you fell, you weren't gonna survive. At least 200 feet in the air, maybe more. I'm bad at judging stuff like that

And here's us being reeled in! The people on the boat were REALLY nice. What was cool was we were the last pair of the day and there wasn't anyone else on the boat, so they let us hang a little longer than usual. Some foreign man and woman .. really cool accents. 8) Really put us at ease :)
So that's it! I put more pictures in my previous post too :)
Oh, and I'm up this early because ... bleh. It's about 8:30 am. My mom's car stalled near work and they towed it home, so I had to make sure they put it in our driveway. Took forever for the guy to get there, then he pulled in our neighbors driveway, so I had to run out in the pouring (and I was soaked) rain to tell him to go next door. I had on my shorts and a stupid t-shirt so I must've looked like a real hillbilly. He finally left, but of course now I can't get back to sleep -_-
Edit: Alright I'm going crazy with pictures! I forgot to mention that we have a new puppy! There is a long story behind her. She is a dachsund puppy, born on June 7 (day after my birthday) and her mom's name is Heidi, like mine  Well ... a couple weeks ago her mother went kind of nuts and her brothers and sisters died. Unknown cause. Then Mike and his mom (because she's from them) realized that she was mostly, if not completely, blind! Saddest thing! So last week when we went to Florida, I had my mom take the puppy home :) It looks like she's gonna be with us permanently and she is so sweet! I named her Opal before we left. Here are some pictures!

This is Opal and our chihuahua, Chi Chi. Chi Chi is stark raving MAD and jealous about Opal! But Chi Chi is a pretty small dog herself, and look how tiny Opal is! So cute T_T

A really cute picture of Opal emerging from beneath the couch!

And someone in my family holding Opal ... she fits in one hand! Soooo cute!
A Few Pictures :)

A great picture of a beach ... and I can't remember which one! Me and Mike think it's Melbourne. Oh well  If you look closely at the top you can see the moon!

One of the coolest things ever - the Star Tours ride at Disneyworld! I would love to have that in my backyard!!

This is the really cool "Tree of Life" at Disneyworld that has all the animals carved into it. Neat, huh?

Et, moi. Why Mike sent me a picture of myself I don't know. Must've been on the way to Medieval Times.
Salut!
Self Esteem :)
I don't like to brag, but I've been feeling really good about myself since we got back from Florida. We swam, literally, every day, I got a nice tan, and my face has cleared up somewhat. Mike is always goading me for getting down on myself, but I'm feeling pretty good now. I know it's not a huge improvement, but hey, at least a tan kinda gives you a glowy look. Mike says he kind of misses me being pale though  He'll have that back this winter!
Mike and I had really gotten into it this past week though. It's our first true "rough patch." We agreed that this is probably the hardest thing our relationship has been through, but we just have to work through it. We really were fighting though; he said if something didn't change, we wouldn't be able to handle it . My stomach got all turned around like it always does when things like that come up, but I had to keep it together. I'm always afraid though, now that he's seen a side of me that I don't like - my spiteful, selfish side - that he will decide he doesn't want to be with me. But we do love each other, so hopefully he can see that that's not the REAL me, just me under tons and tons of stress lately. :(
Well, not much else to say, I gotta go to work now. Hopefully it will go quickly. Ciao!
Boring day!
Something really weird happened at work. In Key West, there is a bar called Hog's Breath. It's the only one in the USA (maybe the world). We all went in there and Mike's stepdad bought him a shirt of Hog's Breath because it's a pretty famous place. Well, some guy came in wearing a Hog's Breath shirt tonight at work! It's like ... wow, really coincidental. It's not like there's another one of those bars in Cleveland or anything!
I'm loving the new Harry Potter book so far. It's really matured, and I mean a lot. There are actually some pretty amusing sexual references in there ... a thinly veiled one where Harry is thinking about a girl while laying in bed and glad that Ron can't perform a levitate charm on him!  I'm almost exactly halfway through it, page 325 out of 650 or so. I'm gonna be sad when I'm done ... which is probably tonight or tomorrow :( Gotta wait ANOTHER year or two before the last (LAST!) book T_T At least the movie "Goblet of Fire" comes out this winter. That was my favorite book so far out of the first five. I really can't believe how the books have matured though, and grown in thickness, especially.
Nothing much else to report today, though. Think I'm gonna read some more :) Ciao!
Parasailing in f*cking Key West!
Tuesday, July 12
We got up really early in the morning to make our 6 am flight. It wasn't too bad. Security was thorough but didn't take long since there weren't a lot of people there at 5 am. I was really nervous on our first flight ... our plane was kind of meh looking but by the time we were taking off from Chicago to go to Orlando, Mike gave me the window seat - I really enjoy flying!
We arrive in Orlando somewhere around 11 am. We rent a really nice Expidition (big ass SUV) and drive to Ocala, FL to scope it out as a place Mike's mom and stepdad wanna move to. Basically... it sucked. Had some good memories at "Big Scrub", lol ... then we drove back to Kissimmee (next to Orlando) that night and stayed in La Quinta! Nice hotel!
Wednesday, July 13
Today is Disneyworld day! I think this was my favorite thing. We started out at Disney/MGM studios, rode "Star Tours" (a Star Wars sim), saw the Indiana Jones show (decent, not amazing), went over to the Animal Kingdom area of the park, and ate at the yummy and awesome Rainforest Cafe! I got a drink called a Rainforest Riki ... a mix of all sorts of fruit juices ...delicious!!! Actually, before that we rode "Dinosaur", a ... dinosaur/time travel sim ride, which was one of our favorite experiences ... the most AWESOME thing happened before "Dinosaur." We were walking towards the line, worried that we would be late to lunch if we waited in line to ride it. All of a sudden, some dad-type comes up to us and asks if we're going to ride the "Dinosaur" and gives us his two "Fast Pass" tickets (which let you basically cut in line) because his kids didn't wanna ride it!!!!! We saved at least a half hour! It was sweet 8)
After lunch we went to the Blizzard Beach waterpark. First of all, let me say this: standard Disneyworld tickets, which only get you into one of the parks (Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Disney/MGM, etc) are $60. To "park hop", it's an additional approx. $35. So we bit the bullet and spent the nearly $100 a ticket. We assumed the waterpark was included but that was an EXTRA $35! So we decided not to, and Mike's mom runs up and says she'll pay for the waterpark if we wanna do it because we should do all we can. Then she's like, "It's only an extra $10 a piece, right?" o_o But she paid for it anyway - I had already put it on my debit card!
Anyway ... Blizzard Beach sucked. Incliment weather made us go to Epcot, which was cool. Rode around in the big golf ball thing. We eventually made our way back to Disney/MGM to watch "Fantasmic", a freaking AWESOME light/water/pyrotechnics show. We have tons of pictures, just gotta get em developed! Then we went back to the hotel, swam for a bit, then hit the hay :)
Thursday, July 14
This morning we left Kissimmee and drove around the east coast. We went to Cocoa Beach (Ron Jon's Surf Shop was the main attraction), Melbourne Beach - where me and Mike both swam in the ocean for the first time - really salty! ... and made our way through Miami and finally to Florida City, where we stayed that night. Thursday was a lot of driving but saw lots of cool sites.
Friday, July 15
Today we went to the Florida Keys! We drove through the Everglades on Highway 1 over the Seven Mile Bridge, through all the keys, including Key Largo, all the way to Key West. Unfortunately since it was a Friday the place was PACKED. And as my topic says .. we went tandem parasailing over the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico! I've got lots of pictures but I gotta use Mike's computer to shrink them. I was frightened out of my skull beforehand ... but it was so beautiful! Exhilerating .. I've never done an extreme thing like that, but it was well worth it! While in Key West we hopped around Mallory Square, which had little shops, fire eaters, sword swallowers, etc ... awesome stuff. Then we left that night and tried to find a place to stay in the Keys, but everyone was booked solid. We ended up driving back to the hotel we stayed at in Florida City, which was in total, a 3 hour drive ... bleh! And while the Keys were really nice .. place smelled like sewage a LOT. It was unbearable.
Saturday, July 16
Today we left for Sanibel/Captiva Islands, my favorite location. Nice trip through "Alligator Alley" and HOT Naples. I bought the sixth Harry Potter book at Wal-Mart for only $15 (!!!!) because I needed some reading material (it's good so far, I'm on page 200). We stayed in a gorgeous A-Frame cottage on Sanibel for only $130! Sanibel was really nice because it was non-commercialized. Saw a 7-11 and a Dairy Queen but those were really the only chains. And the beaches! Made up of seashells. Saturday night, Mike's mom and stepdad stepped out to sightsee and left us at the cottage .. we had slept in the same room for the past two nights so this was some nice, much-needed alone time. Stormed kinda crazily but it finally cleared up and we went swimming that night with his mom & stepdad and had a blast.
Sunday, July 17
Unfortunately we had to check out of the cottage by 10 am Sunday :F We planned to stay in Tampa Sunday night, but when we drove up there, it sucked ... then we went over to Clearwater Beach and we won't EVEN go into how lame that place was ... bunch of partiers and idiots walking around, way too crammed ... so we ended up driving back to Orlando/Kissimmee, and staying in La Quinta again! La Quinta was like our home away from home. Sunday night we didn't really do much ... me and Mike ... well mostly me ... got upset and didn't speak for a while, then had a REALLY big argument late that night. I'll talk about that more later.
Monday, July 18
We spent all day in anticipation of this night's big event - Medieval Times! We spent the beginning of the day however ... at GATORLAND. That cracks me up. It was really hot though, but we did see some huge alligators and some really rare birds. Also got a picture taken with an alligator on his mom and stepdad and a big snake wrapped around me and Mike's necks. Then we swam for a while ... we arrived at Medieval Times at 7:30, lolligagged around till 8:15 when we were seated, and watched the show! Can't really do it justice without pictures, but I gotta wait for those. Food was awesome, sword fighting and jousting were awesome ... it was obviously choreographed but it was really well done. Unfortunately, the place was little more than a glorified bar - people we drunk from the outer bar before the show even started! Kinda disturbing around all the children - and for $50, go to a regular bar if you're not even gonna be sober enough to enjoy it! I got this cool little wizard dude though. He rocks 8)
Tuesday, July 19
Well, not only was this day our 8-month anniversary, we had to leave Orlando today. First of all ... United cancelled our flight! We got switched over to Continental but thats okay since we didn't have to go through Chicago this time; it was a straight flight to Cleveland. The pilot was awful - sooo much pressure flying, I felt terrible compared to the United flights. Major jet lag when we touched down around 6 pm. Nothing much else happened till last night though. Mike and I had a major talk about our relationship. I was very tense a lot of the trip, due to various factors, and sometimes, I would hardly talk to him because of a few things. He said if we don't work through this, he doesn't think we would work out - and I agree, but I seriously ... I don't even know what's wrong with me sometimes. I have extreme highs and lows in my personality ... both my parents are manic depressive, though, and that's GOT to have something to do with it. But ... we talked through it, I asked him a few things I wanted to know, he asked me a few things he wanted to know about my past, and we made up :) I hate talks like that though; my stomach gets tied in knots. It was a lot like the talk we'd had Sunday night, except Sunday it was a little more aggressive. Really though ... he thinks I hold him to standards or expectations, but I don't ... at least not consciously ... I just get paranoid over the tiniest things. I'm really trying not to though. Anyway, last night we fell asleep around 1:30 am, intending to wake up at 2:30 am so he could take me home ... I woke up this morning at 5:06 am!!! Had a big adrenaline rush and I've been up since - but I think I am gonna go take a nap here pretty soon! I'll have pictures within the next few days ... it's kinda good to be back in boring old Ohio!
Million Dollar Baby <3
Meh ... I've got so much to do and I don't feel like doing it ... I guess at 9 am I'll get myself up from watching this movie
I'm so excited about spending the next week not only in Florida, but with Mike! We've spent the weekend together too; but this is sooo exciting. Get our own hotel room, can use the hotel pool/jacuzzi together, see the sun set on the ocean and the Gulf of Mexico ... I'm so grateful to get to go. Before work today however I gotta go to the bank and transfer about $200 from my savings to my checking; bleh. I'll end up having a little over $400 in my checking ... I don't want to take much cash with me down there.
Hopefully Disneyworld is fun! I've never had an inclination to go there, but hey, it's on our itinerary  Mike's gonna have to get pictures of my hugging like ... Goofy ... lol. I'll get the mouse ears and everything!!
Edit: Oh man I'm bored. I finished watching the movie (I didn't cry this time!) and my clothes are in the washer ... meh I hate working 2 - 6 on a Monday. Such a short crappy shift. There's one main chore on that shift during the week, and that's calling people who haven't brought their movies back, my most hated activity. Blah. I guess I shouldn't complain!
I'm kind of nervous about flying though ... I know the odds of anything happening are so slim, but I guess I have a fear of death. It makes me think of how I should live my life better and be more thankful and go to church, but ... meh I'm rambling ... I have to find a different bag to pack my stuff in because my suitcase isn't very secure, latch-wise. I'm kind of taking a lot of clothes, but hey, whaddya expect? Gonna need 7 different outfits. I just hope they don't lose my luggage or something! I've got a really nice carry on bag, I guess I'll put my shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste, etc that kinda stuff, my purse, and some other random things in there ... I've never done this before so I'm not exactly sure what to do.
Allllllright well I'm heading outta here. Have a great week everyone!!!!!
Last post for a while!!
Alright ... Friday me and Mike went to the drive in and saw "Fantasic Four" and it totally SUCKED. It's not even worth describing how bad it sucked. There was nothing good about it. Mike had told me the story from the comic and it sounded really cool so I was excited and everything ... and it blew. But now I wanna read the comic because it sounds sweet 8)
We also pressure washed and re-stained the two decks at the duplex Mike owns. It was a lot of fun, but hard work. We were there from 10 am - 3:30 pm on Saturday and from 3 - 6 pm today. We got things done quickly, but it was really hot outside. It's a really nice property, though ... Mike's stepdad (who he bought it from) said it was appraised at $140,000 ... seems a little high for the town that it's in, but it's got some land with it too. So ... now all the major projects at the duplex are complete! :)
Got some good pictures but Mike isn't online so I can't post em. They're mostly of Mike's sugar glider, which he had to sell today because it was getting to be stinky and grouchy. There's too much that happened in the past few days to type all of it ...
I'm just super excited about Florida. I really can't believe we're going. I bought some travel type stuff tonight at Wal-Mart and I'm gonna get up really early tomorrow morning to pack everything. I work a short shift, from 2 - 6 pm; after that, I'm gonna go to Mike's and we're gonna head to bed pretty early so we can get up at like ... 2 or 3 am since it takes over an hour to get to the airport and our flight leaves at 6 am. I've never been on a commercial airplane before ... Mike's mom is really nervous but I think I'll be alright. I just hope I don't forget anything. I am gonna pack really really light though, the only things besides clothes and shower stuff is probably gonna be my DS and a couple books. And two disposable cameras.
Well ... I gotta get to bed so I can get up early tomorrow. Goodnight!
Edit: I had to take these new tests! Thanks for havin' em on your blog, kreativekat :)
Your Life Path Number Is 8 |
8 You are focused on learning the satisfactions to be found in the material world. The Life Path 8 produces many powerful, confident and materially successful people. You are apt to be very independent, forceful and competitive. Your routine is involved in practical, down-to-earth affairs, and there is relatively little time for dreams and visions. You will want to use your ambitions, your organizational ability, and your efficient approach to carve a satisfying niche for yourself. Most of your concerns involve money and learning of the power that comes with its proper manipulation. This Life Path is perhaps the one that is the most concerned with and desirous of status, as an accompaniment to material success. You are endowed with tremendous potential for conceiving far-reaching schemes and ideas. You also possess the tenacity and independence to follow them through to completion. In short, you are well-equipped for competition in the business world or in other competitive fields of endeavor. You know how to manage yourself and your environment. You are practical and steady in your pursuit of major objectives, and you have the courage of your convictions when it comes to taking the necessary chances to get ahead. The negative 8 can be dictatorial and often suppresses the enthusiasm and efforts of fellow member of the environment. Often, the strength of their own personality excludes close feelings for other people with whom they come in contact. Material gains and rewards often become issues of utmost importance, even to the neglect of family, home and peace of mind. Dedication to success can become an obsession. Emotional feelings are often suppressed by the negative 8, resulting in isolation and loneliness. All Life Path 8 people must avoid discounting the opinions of others. |
I don't see how this could POSSIBLY be more untrue. When I was in 10th grade, I was really into astrology, numerology, and palmistry. I think palmistry is somewhat plausible, numerology is just fun to goof around with, and astrology is just crap. And this is after being so into those subjects that I wrote in-depth reports about them. I am opposite the Number 8 in just about every possible way!

To make up for tomorrow night ...
What, and where, is your favorite place in the world? Why?
I would have to say ... of a place I travel to frequently .. my grandma's house. It's so comfortable, it's less than a mile from Lake Erie, and I just love it. I love the town it's in (Eastlake, OH) because I grew up there (well, mostly) and it's just a good town.
What non-sexual activity brings you the most pleasure?
Probably playing video games, or reading. Or if it's with someone and non-sexual, I'd say spending time with Mike, no matter what it is :)
What is your favourite sexual position?
Oh gosh ... I'm gonna have to go with ... It all depends. I love missionary for the closeness between us, being on top for the control and sexiness, and doggy style (either on the bed or standing up) for the roughness!
What sexual activity do you find to be the most satisfying? Why?
Hmmm ... I really like having my friends played with ... (wink wink ... I'm too shy to say this stuff) I really enjoy when Mike puts chocolate syrup on me, spur of the moment, and goes to town! But I find making love in the missionary position to be the most satisfying, emotionally and physically :)
Do you have any fetishes?
I don't have anything way out there, but I do like to dress up for making love. I really enjoy wearing a cute, short, schoolgirl type skirt with a little shirt over top, and making love wearing that ... and if there's some playful banter along with it that's fun too  Mike wants me to get a nurse's outfit so I'm looking into that too! One of my favorite fantasies however is to be kind of taken advantage of. I'm definitely submissive. I don't see anything wrong with playing games and roleplaying in the bedroom - better to act out fantasies with each other and explore your sexuality, rather than let your lover fantasize about those things on their own, without you. And when it comes to non-sexual fetishes, I have one for nice noses and glasses. Luckily Mike fits both of those criteria. 8)
How often do you check your belly button for lint?
ROFL, I actually do check. I'm weird. But I guess maybe a few times a week?
What kind of music do you listen to?
Oh, just about anything besides country and hardcore rap. I'm in kind of a grunge phase; listening to Tool and Alice in Chains a lot. I'm also a fan of electronica, industrial, and ... classical piano. :)
What is your favorite movie?
Oh, anything by Tarantino will do. Besides "Jackie Brown."
What is the last book you read?
The Book of Atrus from the Myst Reader.
What is one of your favorite movie moments?
Hands down, at the beginning of "Reservoir Dogs" when "Little Green Bag" by George Baker Selection is playing and they're all walking down the street .. so kickass. Or in Kill Bill Vol. 2 when Elle and Beatrix are fighting in Budd's trailer - Elle Driver is the most kickass character ever.
What is your favorite childhood memory?
Hmmm ... I don't have any really good ones ... but I'd have to say, collectively, it was all the times I wenton bike rides with my dad up around Lake Erie. We'd ride everywhere; even places that weren't really safe ... I remember this one hilarious time we were riding to the break wall to watch the lake for a while, and this HUGE wave just hit him and he was soaked from head to toe and smelled NASTY. Oh, and when I was really little we used to go to Lakeview Cemetery to feed the geese bread and walk around (kinda morbid now that I think about it) and me and my dad slid down this really muddy hill. Oddly, I don't talk to my dad anymore but most of my really good memories involve him.
Do you like horror movies?
Sure, I can appreciate a good scare now and then - but I haven't seen a truly frightening movie in .. I don't know the last time I saw one!
What are you most afraid of?
Abandonment, rejection, death.
Do you have any phobias?
I hate most bugs. I'm kind of afraid of heights; I'll get on a plane but I won't climb a ladder.
Do you put on your socks before you put on your pants?
No. I don't really ever wear socks though. I'm anti-sock.
Have you ever masterbated in public?
Can't say that I have!
Have you ever had sex in public?
Me and Mike have done stuff out in the woods, but not actually done *it* out in public yet. I don't really care to think of the pitiable past.
Do you like paper or plastic?
Neither ... but I'll say plastic if I have to.
What is your favorite thing about Texas?
That Mike was born there :)
If you could go back in time, who would you love to meet?
I think Jesus is a hands-down, no-brainer on this one!
Do you have any compulsive behaviors?
Actually I do; I tend to bite and pick at my lips ALL the time, I also have an odd thing where I count as I'm climbing or coming down stairs. I pull at and pull out odd kinked hairs too, to the point where it's somewhat noticeable. My grandma said she did the same thing when she was younger.
Have you ever sexually acted out in anger, or frustration?
No ....
Have you ever had a broken heart?
Of course, haven't we all? I haven't had one in about ... 2 1/2 years though, so that's good. Phew, high school was so depressing. Freshman year I liked this guy named Ben who was a junior ... I ended up going to Prom with a senior that year, and I asked Ben why he didn't ask me to Prom (we flirted a lot, he knew I liked him) and he said he thought I was too young. Then at Prom he said I looked "gorgeous" (I still remember the scenario and everything hehe) ... so in your face! Sophomore year I didn't really have a crush on anyone. Junior and senior year was my whole 'first love' thing though, first time, first real kiss actually (late bloomer @ 16) so yeah ... I talked to "him" the other day and he bought a promise ring for his current girlfiend. Aww. Hope he straightens out for her!
Have you ever done something that you regret? What was it?
I both do and don't regret losing my virginity, as I constantly feel guilty about not saving myself for Mike when he saved himself for me. But what can you do? I also regret being a not very good friend to a lot of people; i.e. I'm bad at calling people and keeping contact. I've just always been that way.
How many hours do you sleep at night?
It really depends; sometimes it's like 3 hours, other times I sleep 12. As long as I get 3 hours, I can function, 6 - 7 hours is optimal, and Mike cannot function without at least 7 - 8 hours.
Have you ever got drunk and made a fool out of yourself?
Nope, never been drunk. I have drank before, but only a few sips of beer or champagne here or there. I hated it and admittedly, only did it because of peer pressure. But I shaped up after about two instances of that.
Have you ever had sex with someone and do not remember their name?
Thank God, no!
Have you had any major surgeries?
I had an appendectomy when I was 16.
What is your number one goal in life?
To be happy and to help other people be happy :)
I Heart Star Wars.
I was sitting here reading the recent issue of MAD magazine that makes fun of "Return of the Sith" and started wondering ... I wonder what Jake Lloyd looks like now? He was the kid who played Anakin in Episode I - that cherub faced, golden haired angel that turned so sinister in Episode III. Well, here's what I found, for those interested.
Jake Lloyd, circa 1999, and more recently:

So that's that.
Like I mentioned in my previous blog, tomorrow night I'll be seeing Episode III for the third time. A really good thing about working at a video store is meeting other movie nerds. The other night, a teenager came in with his own personally constructed LIGHTSABER. From first glance, I thought it was one of those $120 really fancy ones that makes noise when you move it and hit it against stuff, but this kid MADE it out of spare car parts (well, the hilt anyway) ... it was awesome. Only costs $30 and was way cooler looking than one you can buy, obviously, because he MADE it, and it actually lit up. I don't know what he used for the saber part itself, but it turned on and off, and it was green. One of the coolest things I've ever seen.
There is a couple that comes into the store with their young sons, and the dad is a Star Wars freak. He offered to get me some really good tickets when Star Wars debuted up at a really nice theatre, but I had to decline since it was me and Mike's 6 month anniversary that day. For the Fourth of July, he went up to Cleveland with his family and dressed up as a Storm Trooper in the parade! He's also going to do it in the town I work in - said he spent thousands of $$$ on it! His wife is so cool too; she's not huge into Star Wars but she gets into it with her husband and kids. Star Wars fans are always the coolest.
Now I feel inspired to draw a Jedi or something ... or at least play Knights of the Old Republic but I took Mike's X-Box back to his house :( Rats.
On a kind of weird note .. I was thinking about this while reading kreativekat's blog ... two of my coworkers are pregnant, each around the halfway point. It makes me almost wish I was having a baby ... I definitely don't want one right now but it's like aww :) And last night Mike was rubbing my stomach and kissed it a few times, and it's like  it's fun to imagine things like that. If me and Mike had a baby ... we joked about this during the first month or two we were together ... it would have HUGE feet - he wears a size 13, and I wear a size 10 wide ... and it would have some freaking THICK hair ... so it'd look like Bigfoot or something, lol! A kind of weird thing that runs in Mike's family is getting grey hair prematurely. He already has quite a few grey spots; not noticeable unless you really look, but he's only 21. It's alright though. I think it looks good on him. But I guess it's something that only women carry in a family so it ends with him :)
I've been so meh and grumpy lately ... I've decided that I can't let that go on anymore. It's stressing me out, and I'm not making Mike as happy as I could. I've got to learn to let things go and quit thinking things through so much, and taking things so seriously. I need a mega chill pill
Life sucks, I know.
Tomorrow night we're going to the drive-in to see "The Fantastic 4" .... and the second movie they're showing is Episode III so that's a nice bonus. Mike was a really big fan of the comic so that's the only reason we're going to see it. I did a little research and it sounds kind of cool though.
I'm watching "Meet the Fockers" and it's pretty funny. Barbra Streisand is surprisingly amusing. And YES, tomorrow we get "Million Dollar Baby" at work. It officially comes on on 7/12 but we get to watch it a few days early at the video store - that movie was so great. I can't wait to see it again.
Not really a whole lot else to talk about. I FINALLY have a day off tomorrow. Saturday morning me, Mike, and possibly his other friend are gonna paint the porch/deck thing at his duplex so that'll be fun. It's good to get out and do stuff like that.
Figures ...
Nothing much else eventful today ... just reading an issue of Nintendo Power and about to head to bed here in a few. Night.
Excitement :o
We're going to get some amazing photos, I'm sure ... Mike is a great photographer and loves to do it, so I'm sure he'll be busy snapping away. Hopefully we can get some pictures together on the beach, or at Disneyworld! I've never been on a real vacation in my whole life so this is really something for me. I always get aggravated because my mom tells me how awesome her vacations were when she was a teenager, and it's like ... yeah, and your parents had THREE kids to take, and you couldn't even just take ME somewhere. Thanks a lot ... grr.
Well, I'm getting really far in Golden Sun so I'm gonna go play that some more. Ciao!
Pictures

Aren't these puppies just so sweet? They're french bulldog and pug mix. They're both girls :)

This picture cracks me up! Super puppies!!!

Here is a really shitty picture of me and a great picture of Mike at the World's Biggest Basket in Dresden, Ohio ... lmao ... I look really fat in that picture ... bleh.

Here are two absolutely gorgeous pictures of these GIANT moths mating outside Mike's house. I absolutely loathe moths, but these pictures are just beautiful.

And last but not least, a great picture of my sweetheart
Take the skinheads bowling ....
Nothing extremely exciting today. Got up and ate some Subway for lunch with my mom for the second day in a row ('veggie delight' subs are REALLY good; as are my usual ham & turkey) and went to work from 4 - 7. It was a short shift because since it was a holiday, everyone had to work it, so we got tiny shifts. It was lame. What kind of ticked me off though ... and I've only been noticing it lately since three main things have happened - 1) My boobs have grown since being on the pill again; 2) I'm getting a nice tan; and 3) I'm wearing makeup again (I wasn't for a while because I lost my eyeliner, lol) .... anyway, when we went to the flea market on Friday, I bought some of those things that pop when you throw them on the ground. This guy was SERIOUSLY old that I paid, and he's like "Oh, look at you, so young and tender ... " and he gave me 3 packs for $1 instead of 2 packs for a $1, lol ... anyway, he went on about that, and then today at work I made special effort to look good because Mike was coming in. This dude who comes in all the time and never says anything ... he came in and I asked him if he was doing anything special for the 4th, just to make small talk. He's like "No, why, did you wanna go out or something?" And I'm not kidding, he was standing there for like 5 minutes making remarks and looking me over and what could I do? There was no one else in the store and I was trying to get him to see I wanted him to leave but he couldn't take a hint. I was getting really offended when he wasn't looking me in the eye when I was talking. Same thing happened with another really nice guy that comes in a lot too. But he didn't make snide remarks so I let it slide. I definitely don't have an ego but ... it's getting to be annoying.
So after work, me and Mike went back to his house and ate with his family and set off some bottle rockets ... just generally hung out. We went to a local festival but it SUCKED. Luckily we didn't have to pay to get in; we walked around for about 10 minutes and decided it wasn't worth our time. So we sat and laid outside in the hammock for a while but eventually started to get eaten by bugs ... could see some fireworks in the distance, it was kind of nice.
We went back inside and watched some TV, then Mike started doing stuff and got me in the mood  Of course, I love making love ... we always try different positions .... tonight we tried the "reverse cowgirl" as he calls it (cracks me up, even though that's probably what everyone calls it) and somehow ... he was only moving like a tiny bit, but kind of quickly, and it felt REALLY good. So that was nice. We also tried standing up, but Mike is a lot taller than me, so it was difficult starting out but ... and I'd never tried this ... standing with my legs closer together and his spread apart, that felt really good too. I'm a little worried I'll be on that time of the month while we're in Florida, but even if I am, oh well. My mom tells me not to go in the ocean because the sharks will come after me ... I'll have to research and make sure that's not true!
We got in a bit of a tizzy today, but nothing serious. Just me being PMSy again ... I played a ton of "Golden Sun" so I gotta go look up something for the game on gamefaqs because I'm kinda stuck
I've been really good at not arguing with people lately. There are so many things I could say to a couple people, friends, non-friends, family, but I just keep it back and chill. I like being able to let go of the past and things that really don't mean anything. It used to be hard for me ... but then again, I guess when your past was kind of shitty and pointless, who would want to remember it? Better to just move past things and know in your head that you're the better person. Especially when that means you're letting the other person think something that isn't true ... it's hard not to set them straight but it's kind of fun keeping it to yourself!
Pretty bland day!
But really nothing to talk about tonight. Going to the fireworks in Akron tomorrow night, Mike says they're awesome. We'll see :)
America ... FUCK YEAH!
Thursday night we watched "Team America: World Police" and OH my gosh - some people who come into work say it was really stupid; some of it wasn't THAT great, but the music! Trey Parker/Matt Stone (creators of South Park) are up there on the list of best songwriters - even if it's just comedy music, here are the lyrics from one of the songs and the reason it's SO hilarious is because it's sung like a mock-country song:
"Freedom Isn't Free"
What would you do
If you were asked to give up your dreams for freedom
What would you do
If asked to make the ultimate sacrifice
Would you think about all them people
Who gave up everything they had.
Would you think about all them War Vets
And would you start to feel bad
Freedom isn't free
It costs folks like you and me
And if we don't all chip in
We'll never pay that bill
Freedom isn't free
No, there's a hefty fuckin' fee.
And if you don't throw in your buck 'o five
Who will?
What would you do
If someone told you to fight for freedom.
Would you answer the call
Or run away like a little pussy
'Cause the only reason that you're here.
Is 'cause folks died for you in the past
So maybe now it's your turn
To die kicking some ass
Freedom isn't free
It costs folks like you and me
And if we don't all chip in
We'll never pay that bill
Freedom isn't free
Now there's a have to hook'in fee
And if you don't throw in your buck 'o five
Who will?
You don't throw in your buck 'o five. Who will?
Oooh buck 'o five
Freedom costs a buck 'o five
------------
Or how about the macho-rock anthem that they sing when they go kick some ass ...
America...
America...
America, FUCK YEAH!
Coming again, to save the mother fucking day yeah,
America, FUCK YEAH!
Freedom is the only way yeah,
Terrorist your game is through cause now you have to answer to,
America, FUCK YEAH!
So lick my butt, and suck on my balls,
America, FUCK YEAH!
What you going to do when we come for you now,
it’s the dream that we all share; it’s the hope for tomorrow

Alright, I'm done! Anyway - I spent the night Thursday night at Mike's house because Friday morning we woke up and left for Rogers, the huge ass flea market, at 9 am. That place RULED. Mike said it used to be bigger and better, but it still rocked. Of course I spent waaaaaaay too much money :x .... I bought ... "Roadsters" for N64, a game I used to rent back when I was like 14 or 15 ... "Golden Sun" and "Tetris Worlds" for GBA ... "Paperboy 2" for SNES ... "Star Trek: The Voyage Home" & "The Undiscovered Country" for $2 a piece! A total steal for great looking Star Trek tapes ... a really cute pink hat with a dragon design on it that matches Mike's; he bought it there a few years back, apparently. So that was fun ... Mike's friend Nick came and he is pretty cool. Later Friday night we went to his cousin's graduation ... get-together. She is pretty cool; speculated that she wasn't quite ... all there that night if you get my drift. Then I stayed over again Friday night and we got up and painted Mike's duplex this morning! That was actually a lot of fun. His dad came and hauled this huge ass ladder over there and painted until about noon, then he left, and we grabbed a bite to eat at a diner in town. Absolutely terrible service. The girl that waited on us comes into my work so I was decent to her, but 1) the food took nearly a half hour and there was hardly ANYONE there and everyone was goofing off; 2) I am very big on getting my pop refilled - she didn't once ask me, I tried to get her attention once but she had tunnel vision, and Mike finally had to practically shout at her. So I left her only $2; Mike said I shouldn't have left anything. :? Anyway ... what's reaaallly weird is that there is this really nice girl who rents movies a lot and we have a lot of the same movie tastes. It turns out she's one of the tenants at Mike's duplex! What a small world! So I got some more sun on me from being outside two days in a row :) Oh, what else was fun - Friday night, Mike's mom and stepdad weren't home and a family came over to look at a pug/french bulldog puppy (I'll have pictures in a few days hopefully, sooooo cute) and I got to hold the dogs and kind of be like the ... assistant salesperson to Mike ... maybe they thought we were married or something ^.^
Well I'm done babbling for now. Ciao!
