Suikoden III Complete!
Yep! I just finished the game ... not much else happened today ... went to work, came home, played Suikoden, took a nap, and played more Suikoden. The ending was really good; the final battle was actually really tough. My party consisted of my main character, Chris (knight/true rune mage), Percival (knight/healer), Futch & Bright (dragonmaster and his dragon), Mua (knight/guard), and Viki (kickass mage/healer) ... everyone died except for Futch & Bright (Futch rides Bright) ... they had such great defense, I just had to heal every two or three turns, and I took out the boss with relative ease.
I like days like today. I probably should've called a few friends to remind them that I do exist and I want to hang out, but I've just been so obsessed with Suikoden lately. Oh well ... they're great games! Now I get to play the not so great one ::sigh:: Oh well, Suikodens I - III were great, IV can't be a total waste of time.

Chris Lightfellow, Percival Fraulein, Futch & his dragon Bright, Mua, and (young) Viki.

Ten Things You Don't Know About Me.
1. I have bad luck with piggy banks. They always, always break or have something spilled on them (nail polish, usually).
2. I fell off a computer chair when I was about 3 and landed on the edge of the desk, biting down on my tongue. I still have the scar on my tongue.
4. When I was about 4 or 5, I was at my sister's (place for handicapped kids) on a wheelchair swing (about 15 feet tall) and the metal ball that made it swivel broke off and the swing, chains and all, collapsed on top of me. The ball landed a few inches away from my head, probably would've been hurt REALLY bad if it had landed on my head.
4. I have such a sensitive stomach that I get really nauseous at minute things; my pediatrician said it when I was a kid. I've gotten sick at the most silly of things, such as almost getting in trouble with the police, and having a first boyfriend.
5. I almost drowned twice, once in a pool at my cousins' grandparents (age 7), and second time in Lake Erie at the beach (age 10). Some random lady saved me (stepmom was tanning on the beach, of course) and ever since I've had a fear of water.
6. When I was 9, my stepdad took away all my Christmas presents for not cleaning my room, and my mom never gave them back.
7. My dad supposedly named me after an ex girlfriend. Haven't talked to him in 4 years, or seen him in 6 years.
8. I sold my N64 and my games when I was in 10th grade because it wasn't "cool" to play games. I've since realized I was a total idiot and bought another one and embrace my love for games.
9. I used to play the piano totally by ear, I can't read music for crap, even though I have really, really tried.
10. When I was 16, I went to the hospital for dehydration due to vomiting excessively. They tried to send me home with the flu but my mom wouldn't let them - later on a surgeon did a few tests (simple ones, such as hitting my heel to see if it hurt my abdomen) and diagnosed me with appendicitis. I had an emergency appendectomy, said it would've burst a few hours later if I didn't. (I learned earlier today a friend of my mom's aunt died by going to the same hospital and they sent her home with the flu. She died two weeks later from the same thing she went there for.)
So I didn't really have a ton to talk about today so I posted that ... I'm not super interesting ... night!

Awesome night!
Yeah! Not much else to say about Saturday night other than it rocked hardcore; we went to see the musical comedy "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" at Carousel Dinner Theatre in Akron, a.k.a. the largest dinner theatre in the country. Here is me after I got ready ... no good shots or anything but I got some of me and Mike on his camera and when he uploads him I'll put them up. Along with those zoo pictures, grr!

I'm such a picture whore ...

My shirt was really sequin-y ...

I just like my tree in the background on this one!
Anyway, it was awesome, it was only 4 people doing the whole musical. We ate at about 6 pm, I had this AWESOME strawberry daquiri (virgin of course ... Lee I finally had one!) ... and a pretty good entree, and a decent dessert. The show was hilarious, the people were AWESOME singers ... it was a great night. Then I stayed the night at Mike's house, and ohh had a great time there as well, hehe ... :) :)
But anyhoo I just got back from work, I was a hostess today for the first time, and I hated it. I'd much rather work for my tips and make about $8 an hour at least on a Sunday, instead of minimum wage ($5.15 I think) plus one table that I had to take because we got really busy. Oh well. It was an alright day ... anyhoo ... gonna get changed because I smell like food... ciao!

Oh, blah ...
What a blah day. Got to sleep in a tad at least since I didn't have to be at work until 11 am. When I got there ... it just started off wrong. The two people who opened this morning (heating up soups, just doing normal stuff) kinda made a mess out of everything, and stuff was just laying around ... then we got REALLY busy and I usually like this one girl I work with, but NO ONE was answering the damn phone ... so I answered it and it was a carry out order. I took down the order, set it down for a minute to take my drink orders out, and forgot to put the order in. Yes, that was a REALLY stupid thing to do because when the people showed up, their order wasn't ready. Fortunately, it was something that could be made really fast ... but the girl came back and said SO nastily, "You didn't put this ORDER back." And was just kind of a bitch to me for the rest of the day. It's like, we're all human, we all make mistakes. I apologized later when we slowed down, and she didn't even say anything to me; one of the other waitresses did, she said "Oh, it's okay, but next time if you're too busy, just ignore the phone" ... so I will! Like everyone else does.
ANYWAY. I thought I had to work a split shift tonight but I didn't :) So I went out to Kohl's in Wadsworth with my mom and stepdad and bought some clothes to wear to Carousel Dinner Theatre tomorrow night; I'm really excited... I'll make Mike get a picture of me. I was so happy; I found a pair of kickass Candies jeans that were originally $58 (I hardly pay HALF that for a new pair of jeans) that we're marked down to $10!!! :O It rocked ... and another pair of snazzy LEI black jeans that were about $40 and marked down to $7! Just a huge sale they had going on. Got a ton of stuff for only $50. I needed some nice new dress pants and a dressy top, so it worked out :)
Aaaaanyhoo ... not much else going on. Got about $700+ saved up for whenever I get this show on the road ... about getting a new car, that is. Ugh. I hate thinking about it. It'll be nice to find a new car (well, new to me) but I'm still not looking forward to paying the bills for it ... yeek. Oh well.
Been spending a good amount of time on the SuikoX.com forums, pretty awesome place. I made a simple but nice signature for the forums from my favorite game, Suikoden II. I had to shrink it down a little because this blog setup is weird; instead of stretching the page for the image, it just cuts off the picture. So if you'd like to see it in normal mode click
here pleaze!

And here's a picture of me!

Have some more but they're only Mike appropriate ^.^ Night!

Q & A
General Questions
What is your name, and what does it mean?
Heidi - German, means noble and kind :)
Are you male or female?
Girl :)
In what region do you live?
Ohio, USA
Are you married, have a girlfriend/boyfriend, have children, etc?
I've been with my boyfriend for a year and two months.
How old are you?
20
What do you do?
I'm a waitress, if you mean profession.
What do you enjoy, or what are your hobbies? (Be specific. If you like music, what type of music do you like, for example.)
I like video games (Suikoden, Zelda, Super Smash Bros Melee, tons more), anime (Trigun, Fruits Basket, Cowboy Bebop), drawing, reading, fashion ... lots of things.
What do you hate?
Well, I wouldn't say hate, but things that aren't for me ... partying, spending tons of money on clothes, drinking/drugs, arrogance, bossiness ... yep.
Character Questions
You see someone getting mugged in the street. You don’t know if the perpetrator is armed, and you have your cell phone with you. What do you do?
I would duck around something so the person wouldn't see me calling the police. I'd call 911 and keep an eye on the situation and try to track the guy/girl.
Your car broke down in your driveway, and you don’t have the slightest idea how to fix it. What would you do?
I would talk to my stepdad if he was home, or I'd look online for possible things that could be wrong.
You’re married with children, and you just got a job offer that gives you a large raise–but you have to move across the country. Everybody is okay with it, except your oldest child who has two years left of school and doesn’t want to move. What do you do?
I would really consider their feelings, but as the product of many moves during my life, I'd tell them I know that it's hard, but high school is just school, and they'll be done soon and probably not be friends with a lot of the same people anyway.
Your best friend gets in a fight and kills someone. You weren’t there, but your friend is running from the police and says he/she was defending him/herself. Your friend comes to you for help. What do you do?
I would defend and support them as best I could, but since I didn't see it I couldn't say anything for sure.
You’re in college and you’re failing a class. You can still withdraw without getting a failing grade, but you won’t get your money back. What do you do?
If there was a way to raise my grade, I would do everything I could ... if not, I'd withdraw, because what's the point of doing it if you won't pass it or get your money back.
You’re walking with someone you love and hold dear when another person walks near and starts making lewd or insulting remarks toward your loved one. You don’t recognize this person. What do you do?
I would give them a look like "What the hell?" And gauge the reaction of my loved one whether they knew them or not.
You and the one you love get into an argument. He/she says that you are hurting their feelings, but you don't think that their having hurt feelings over this makes sense. How do you react?
I would ask them what I'm doing that is bothering them, and if it's something I can help, I'd stop doing it. But if it was something that needed to be said I'd say it.

A good few days ...
No way to sum up yesterday & today other than "good" ... :) Nothing insanely eventful but pleasant. Yesterday at Mike's house his mom & stepdad didn't have any foster kids hanging around, so they chilled with us for a while. It was kind of crummy, because I was finishing the book "My Sister's Keeper" while they were in the room, and the ending was SO powerful and sad that I started crying ... kind of embarassing, lol ... but seriously, that book was so moving and good, but really sad, and I didn't want it to end that way. It's a little over 400 pages but I finished it in about a week. I highly recommend it! ... ::cry:: You can see it on Amazon
here.
We also went out to Applebee's with his mom and stepdad last night ... mmmmmm some good food! Our waitress was way too fricking chatty though, oh well. She got a good tip at least ... hmm, what else ... stayed over Mike's house last night too, that was fun, of course it's "that" time ... bleh.
Let's see, today I worked from 11:30 - 8 pm, ew. Wasn't extremely busy at dinner but lunch time we were slammed. We're a restaurant that's in a good spot for people who work at local business to come eat lunch, like Smucker's (yes, the jelly company is based in Orrville, OH, the town I work in ... yay), and a few other business-y people. So lunchtime is always busier. But Mike, his mom, and stepdad came in tonight so I got to hang out with them since they were my last table, and they gave me a $20 which I wasn't going to accept but they made me. Without that kickass tip I would've done pretty bleh today, considering I worked both lunch and dinner. Oh well. I really liked who I worked with today; we hired two new girls, Jackie and Holly, who are really nice, and I like Hannah a lot, who's worked there for a couple years. I just love everyone I work with. Luckily one of the girls I didn't like because she was bossy and arrogant got fired for a no-call no-show.
So I know this post wasn't exciting ... for a good post visit
JustinB's Blog ... a post about Suikoden V whoo! I'll refrain from talking about it since he is!

You know you're a game nerd when ...
You burn CDs of purely game music. Okay, I burned it for Mike, but that's just because I don't need to make myself a copy. If you want to see the coolest anime game intro with the best music ever, you should check this out ... please? :)
Suikoden III Opening Video
I downloaded tracks from the first three Suikoden games, Chrono Cross, two Lunar games, and Wild Arms.
And in case you're interested, here is the intro for one of the best games ever, Suikoden II.
Suikoden II Opening Video
I know ... all this Suikoden has gotta be getting old ... me and Mike once talked about what game world we'd want to live in, and at the time I said Hyrule (Zelda), but now it's definitely whatever the whole of the Suikoden world is called. I won't go into specifics because no one will know what I'm talking about ... lol ...
Well Mike's gonna be here soon so I gotta get ready. Ciao!

Yep ... not a whole lot happened today. Work was slow for the most part, but I still made about $45, which isn't bad for how slow it was. I did get ticked off a few times; these two guys came in, and I don't know if they were just being friendly or flirting with me, but I didn't reciprocate, and they got SO pissed, that they didn't even leave me a tip. I remember people that do that ...
So I came home and messed with this drawing I did.

Drawing in it's original form.

Drawing in it's best form, I think.

Colored it and incorporated it into a sig for
The SuikoX forums.
So yeah ... didn't do much. Gotta work again tomorrow and then me and Mike are hanging out, yay ^.^ His dog, Heidi (why do people have so many dogs named Heidi; nevermind the cheap joke), which is our dog Opal's mom, had some puppies tonight. They are dachsunds ... gonna be so cute! If you'd like to look at our dogs, here is something my mom set up online ...
Chi Chi on Dogster.com ... that's our dog Chi Chi and Opal is our dachsund ... hehe ::rolls eyes:: My mom has a lot of spare time.
But I'm gonna hit the hay ... night!

Too much Suikoden!
I played Suikoden III for about 6 hours today I think ... mostly at Mike's house, lol ... got a lot farther in that game. I'm gonna post some of the characters, just because I love that game, I love the whole lineage and how so many of the characters from past games are related ... here we go ... oh wait, first, isn't this picture captivating? It's a photo taken in 1984 and featured in National Geographic. Most beautiful eyes ever ...

I think I'm going to pick two favorite characters from each game. I know I did this before so sorry if anyone is bored with this, but I'm bored too!
Suikoden I Favorites
Odessa Silverberg
Odessa is awesome because she grew up in an aristocratic household because her family were part of the government; her uncle being a famous military strategist. She rebelled against all that and started the Toran Liberation Army to go against the corruption caused. She was young, died for her cause, and was in love with Flik (see next game) ... she was a brave leader and an great character!
Stallion
So Stallion was never a large character plot-wise, but he's great in your party, and is just generally awesome. He is great with the Wind Rune in both games I & II, and I think he looks cool. Yep :)
Suikoden II Favorites
FlikFlik is one of the ultimate characters ... you think that he dies at the end of the first game trying to save you, the main character, but when this game starts, you find out that both he and Viktor (another great character) both made it out of the castle safely and did some adventuring together. He is a pursued (by the ladies) man, but he still remembers Odessa. Aww! :')
RinaRina is another one of those characters who isn't essential to the story, but is a great party member. She is awesome with magic and I used her in my last battle ... love her, even though she's kind of a slut in this game. Heh.
Suikoden III Favorites
Hugo
Hugo just ... rocks. I tried to stay away from using the main characters as favorites, but as the story rolls on in this game, I can't help but think he is really awesome. Definitely one of the more complex characters, I felt REALLY bad when I didn't choose him as my ... well, don't won't to spoil it for anyone ... but anyway he is awesome, think his hair looks sweet. His best friend gets murdered, his mom is the cheif of his tribe, he has tons of pressures going on ... and he deals.
Thomas
Anyone that plays this game might think this is weird .. but Thomas ROCKS! He has gone through a LOT of shit! He doesn't know who his father is, then his mom dies, and he has to travel like a really long way to the big city to find his dad, hoping he'll take care of him (guy is like 15), and his dad doesn't want ANYTHING to do with him because he's a member of the Council ... so he just shooes him away and makes him the master of a whole castle just to get him out of the picture. And Thomas deals with it really well! He sucks fighting wise but he is just a cool guy.
Anyway ... sorry if that was boring ... once I finish Suikoden III I might have different favorite characters but who knows. Anyway, I've gotta be at work in 7 and a half hours, so I better hit the hay .. night!

A good evenin' ...
I had a really good time tonight with Lee and Cole. We went up to World Market, Barnes and Noble ... spent like three hours there, literally, lol ... I bought some puzzle books for me and Mike to ponder over. Also went to Olive Garden before that and had some deeeelicious food ... our waitress was awesome. It's funny how being a waitress makes you appreciate great service. We EACH left her $5 ... so she got a $15 tip. It's nice to know that was probably her best tip of the day and it feels good to be appreciated.
Anyway ... don't really have much to talk about ... I'll just post some quiz answers, lol ...

A girls night out :)
I don't know what we're going to do tonight ... but my friends Lee and Cole should be here any minute :) I worked with Lee at the video store a few months back and she is awesome ... Cole is her girlfriend ... we haven't gotten to hang out in a few months. Everyone has been SO busy ... so who knows what we're gonna do, hopefully do a lil shopping and this and that ... I'm in a pretty good mood ... feeling a lot better about stuff today than yesterday ... maybe it's because I made almost $50 in tips for only working 4 1/2 hours!

A long day.
Hehe ... got to bed slightly late last night, but still woke up at about 8 am this morning. Mike picked me up a little after 9 am (he slept in on accident) and we headed for the Cleveland Zoo! I won't talk about it too much until Mike sends me the pictures because it was SO cool at a couple parts, and I don't wanna talk about it twice. The only things that stunk was it was 1) the weekend; 2) half off day; and 3) cold as hell! There were TONS of kids and their idiotic parents; kid just running around like idiots. We said we're only having two kids when the time comes ... I agree with that!
But then we went and visited my grandma in Eastlake, Mike had never visited her before :) It was really cool; saw my elementary school and an old house I used to live in. I always felt like I belonged in that town; it's right on Lake Erie, nice neighborhoods, but not too uppity or anything. Even though I was born in Cleveland, I consider it my hometown :)
Anyhoo ... Mike's back has been really bugging him lately, he was getting pretty irritable tonight, and that's saying something. He usually doesn't get grouchy over stuff like that, but his back has been bothering him for a long long time, and it got worse a week or two ago ... he's always on the heating pad, wearing his back brace, and rubbing it .. I wish I could give him my good back, at least that'd be one less thing for him to worry about :(
What else ... been feeling really emotional and all that today, I hate days like that. Get insecure and clingy ... been feeling blah and fat as well. I know I am overweight, especially at this particular time I feel very big, more than normal ... I'm glad my cousin Gina wasn't at my grandma's today though. She is gorgeous, 5'8 or taller, like 110 lbs, perfect body, black hair ... I feel so insignificant compared to her; she's done modeling in magazines (not that that makes you a good person), but she's also a total sweetheart. Which makes her hard to dislike, lol ... and you should love family but when you're as insecure as I am, it makes it hard to take your boyfriend over there, you know?
Anyway, I know my posts have been really boring lately. I've just been feeling kind of depressed and all that, and it being that time (ahem) I'm even more moody and aggravated ... but I gotta be at work in less than 9 hours and I think I need a good nights sleep .... so ciao!
Edit: Got bored.

I find it very ironic I got Euterpe, because I wrote a story based on her for ninth grade English. Pretty neat.

What a blah day.
Yep. That was today. Got up pretty late again, gonna be breaking that habit tonight. Worked from 4 - 11 ... bleh, it was really aggravating at one point. Twenty minutes before closing, these four big guys come in and order a rack of ribs, shrimp dinners, and burgers. So I felt more bad for the kitchen than anything ... but they stayed until 10:30 (half hour after we closed) and left me a $4 tip. Any other time that would've been a mediocre tip from thos jerks, but for keeping all of us there later, it was NOT worth it. And the one guy chewed like a frigging cow, I could hear him chewing 10 feet away, over another guy talking. Ugh ... but I made about $55 so it wasn't too awful, I guess.
But anyway ... I'm all PMS-y and went to call Mike and he's at the movies ...grr ... which is even more blah because I was invited to go to the movies tonight after work, but I didn't go because I thought we were going to go see it together! So that kind of pisses me off, but whatever. I wasn't hugely interested in it anyway but we haven't been to the movies in a while and that's not the point :P
So tomorrow we're going to the zoo, that is if I don't fall asleep before Mike can call me, because I'm dead tired. So ... night night!

A quick post ....
I'm not quite sure how, but I totally screwed up my sleeping schedule the other day. It's no biggie, I'll get a few hours before work, then go to sleep when I get home from work. I've been on such a regimented schedule with having to WORK in the mornings lately that I deserve a little leniency :)
I was reading through some of my old blog entries ... can't believe I've been on here nearly a year :) At first I didn't really love the change of tBlog, well, I like the overall feel, but I didn't think I'd want to change to a new template. But I really like the look of it now; of course I'll be super editing it when they offer really custom templates. Until then I'll live with this.
Bleh ... I've had some weird eating habits lately. Some days I'll pig out and other days I won't get to eat anything at all. It's not good ... I was hoping after getting off the pill I'd lose a little weight, but I didn't. Oh well, least I didn't really gain a ton of weight; the weight I did gain was in *ahem* good areas, according to Mike anyway :) So I'm at about 150 ... I'm happy with my weight. I like being able to eat what I want, in moderation, and I exercise every now and then ... I could be healthier, but I'm not drinking or smoking, and I think that's pretty okay. I get a lot of exercise at work as it is, walking around the whole time, carrying bus tubs full of dishes, steamers full of soup... it's exhausting sometimes. But it's fun. And it least it's a real job :)
But I guess I oughta be going to bed here in a moment. Night!

Not a hugely interesting day ...
Yeah ... got up pretty late today ... that was nice :) Work wasn't very exciting. Didn't make much money :(
Been working on this for like an hour ...
Intelligence Test ... it's really addictive. I've gotten 21 so far ... so I guess I'm a genius? Riiight ... and that's not including the ones goins told me! Or the ones Mike said while we were on the phone!
Played a lot of Suikoden III last night and today! This game is more like a movie than the usual game ... the characters are just unbelievable. I have to do some character art really soon.
Gotta work tomorrow 4 - 10:30 ... better make some good money ... grr! Not much to talk about though, so I'm gonna play some more Suikoden. Night!
By the way, this is where we are going next Saturday:
Carousel Dinner Theatre! I'm really excited. I've never been to a real play before, and you can't dress casual ... whoo!

A really good night!
Tonight was honestly one of the best nights me and Mike have spent together in a while. I don't talk about it much, but we hadn't been getting along fabulously for a few months. I mean, we did, but I've just been aggravated with a lot of different things, and it made me very grouchy ... I was unsure about how he felt about me, unhappy at my jobs, unhappy at home ... not that
I I was unhappy with the relationship, but it was just a cycle of me being grouchy, him getting upset, and me getting upset at him because he wasn't being nice. But it was me in the first place. Anyway, we had a big talk about a lot of things the other night and got a lot of stuff sorted out. From now on, I am just going to trust and love him 100%, give everything of me to our future ... while still maintaining a little independence. I think I was relying a little too much on him to provide happiness, and I can't do that. It's hard to explain, but we didn't get grouchy at each other once tonight. We just hung around, I played some Suikoden III, watched "Sideways" which we talks about for a while ... I think the good part about tonight was that we had some good conversations. We haven't had those in a while. But all in all I am feeling really good about us again. Not that I ever didn't, but you know what I mean. ::happy sigh:: I'm working on clearing up my money issues, and just really looking towards the future. And it seems within grasp more than it ever has, even though it's still quite a few years away.
But anyhoo ... yeah, I had a good night. I'm really glad I don't have to work until 5 pm tomorrow. Not that I mind getting up for work in the morning, but it's nice not to have to. Can stay up late and enjoy the new high speed connection :) Although I didn't get to pick up WoW yet ... hehe. That game will be the end of me if I get it!
Night! I miss my lightbulb!
Edit: I know these are stupid, but these vidoes are cracking me up!

Randomness, ...
Just felt like making a blog. I'm listening to a song by Panic! At the Disco called "Nails for Breakfast, Tacks for Snacks" ... it's really good.
So Mike is gonna be here in like 20 minutes and I haven't even blow dried my hair yet.
So nothing huge is going on at the moment. Convinced Mike to watch "Sideways" tonight since I'm watching "Broken Flowers", which is his choice.
Yeah ... nothing going on. Maybe go to the bookstore tonight or eat at my mom's work if we're bored. I'm in a weird mood.

My Suikoden Rune
Yes! This is my favorite Rune in the game, and I really didn't know this is what it was all about. Out of 27 runes, what are the odds I'd get my fave?

Which Suikoden True Rune Are You Compatible With? brought to you by Quizilla
But anyhoo ...it's sweet to have high speed, oh yes :) My day has been pretty normal ... made shit at work tonight ... but I bought a really good book called "My Sister's Keeper" which, as far as I can tell, is about a girl who's sister has leukemia. The main story of the book is how the younger sister resents her sister and her family because she was basically born for the sole purpose of being a genetic match for her sister, who needs a lot of blood and marrow transplants. It's really good, I can't wait to get more into it.
But anyhoo ... yeah I am liking the internet a lot better now. eBay isn't such a pain in the ass ... I checked out torrentspy.com from Justin's link list, gonna save some of his stuff to check out later ... but I am tired! Gonna hit the hay ... night!

Now I can use my PSP while lying in my bed because it's wireless! And I can play Animal Crossing DS with ANYONE!!!! ... ::dies!::

Good and bad few days ...
Oh my gosh, I just typed a HUGE post about my weekend, and AOL closed down. I am so pissed! Thank God we are getting high speed in like ... less than 10 hours 8)
Um yeah ... this weekend was okay. If this post is grouchy it's because I was almost done with my other one. Me and Mike had some pretty big talks though; we got in two pretty decent sized arguments. I won't go into them because it's personal stuff, but we really sorted some things out, we told each other how we felt, I realized I needed to grow up before we can move in together, and pay off my debts. I need to get one of those debt consolidation things .... it's not even that I have that huge of a debt, I just want to get them crammed together in one thing, and perhaps get a credit card to pay them off with, a little at a time - that way I really DO have the money to pay them off with, and I can pay the bills for it on time, so I build up good credit while simultaneously taking care of what is causing bad credit. I also need to take care of old health bills that were put under my name when I was 16 or younger (my appendectomy, dehydration episodes) so that I won't be held responsible for the late payments on those. But other than those arguments, we had a pretty good few days. His folks were gone Sunday night so I stayed over, and we got some food and cooked a real meal :) I love doing that. Chicken penne pasta, potatoes au gratin, and caesar pasta salad, and a baguette. And carrot cake for dessert. T'was yummy! And his friend Jerome came over tonight so around oh, 7 - 8 pm, when it was dark, we all went out to the huge woods his stepdad owns behind Mike's, and went adventuring through the dark with one flashlight, a knife hooked on my belt, a camera ... was so cool, climbed over like tree branches that we broke off to give a bridge across the semi frozen ponds we encountered. Rocked hardcore 8)
But anyway tomorrow I gotta work 10 - 3 and then 5 - 8 again like I did last week; yuck! Hopefully I'll make good $$. And the high speed internet guy is coming tomorrow too, yay!!! :D So we'll see how that works out. Gotta straighten up my room a lil bit I guess.
This week is gonna be great though. Wednesday we may go to Applebees to celebrate our 14 month anniversary (it's actually Thursday but he has school and I have work), Saturday we're going to the Cleveland Zoo, and yeah ... it's gonna rock. I do feel bad for not hanging out with some friends this weekend, but me and Mike really needed some alone time after that big argument we had on Sunday; it was nasty.
But anyway I'm loving the new tBlog! Night!

Insane day ...
Wow ... this day started out okay. So, I had to work at the restaurant from 11:30 - 5 pm. Not bad, I was just glad I wasn't the person scheduled from 8 am - 3. I hate that shift more than anything! I worked it last Saturday.
Anyhoo ... me and Briana were working... she's really cool and a good waitress. She tipped me off to the fact that if you write "Have a great day!" on someone's check, that your tip really does go up. And it proved itself today! I made pretty sweet tips for the little lunch rush we had ... but then things turned nasty
At about 3 pm Briana left. I had 4 tables at the time, which is quite a few. Then umm ... 2 more came in. At the peak time, I had about 7 tables at once, for example, a table of six, two tables of four, a table of three, and three tables of two. It was insane for about 2 1/2 hours! .... I thought I was going to die. That's 23 people who need attention, and I was the only waitress! And it was just Mike and Jay in the back cooking, and thank goodness for Mike, he came out quite a few times and asked if I needed anything and took a few orders for me. Dunno what I would've done without him doing that - but that's what he gets paid managers wages for. But the worst part was this culmination of events ... I dropped an Original Eastern on the ground ... got yelled at by a table who wanted refills ...and when I went to get the refills, I squirted lemon juice directly in my EYE. It BURNED. I broke down and had to go to the bathroom to wash it out and cry for a minute. I know it sounds lame, but honestly I was going insane and I wasn't feeling 100% today as it was. But ... the bright side, I made over $80 for working 6 hours, so whoo. But um, yeah ... if I have to work another shift like that I may kill myself.
But the rest of the day was pretty uneventful, went out to my mom's work to grab a bite to eat (Kaffee Haus in Wooster) and it was delicious ... came home to play some Suikoden/Animal Crossing ... just got my ass kicked in Suikoden III, boo ...I did want to hang out with Catherine and Gus tonight, but Mike called ... I thought he was hanging out with some friends, but he didn't, and he had some mondo stuff to talk about ... kind of shitty, but I dunno that he'd want me talking about it on here. Has to do with a lot of distrust and mean people :?
But anyway that was my day. Yep ... gonna just surf the net and relax I guess ... night!

A good day :)
It was good after the fact though ... we were supposed to go to the Cleveland Zoo this morning ... but Mike's back has been bugging him like mad lately so we decided to go next week. It was just so irritated after the incident the other day ... his back has some really bad problems ... he just turned 22 and that poor boy has more medical problems than most people twice his age
But anyhoo, I went over his house at 9 am anyway ... and we ended up sleeping till 1 pm  Kinda lolligagged around for a bit, then went into a neighboring town to grab some Burger King around 2:30 ... I love just sitting in a restaurant with Mike and reading the paper. It's a lot of fun :)
We also went to the Goodwill ... I know I am the cheapest person I know ... they raised their prices though. From $1.50 to $2 on t-shirts, $2.50 to $3.50 on pants, blouses, and skirts. That's crazy! I know .... I'm just cheap ... meh! :( I did buy a pair of pants and this kickass red Russian shirt ... and a bunch of "Clue" mini mystery books :D
We also hung out with David and Alissa again tonight. Neither of us were really feeling 100% though and I felt bad, but later this weekend or next week we'll feel more up to doing stuff. We plan on going to see the new "Underworld" ... guess I should watch the first one  DDR3 is tons of fun though! David is awesome at it; Alissa is really good, and I'm pretty sucky. Mike wouldn't even try it
But we got back to Mike's around 11:30 and watched "Pulp Fiction." I've always been a hardcore "Reservoir Dogs" fan, just because I love the character interaction and dialogue, but honestly "Pulp" has to be one of the best movies ever made, period. It is insanely intricate and well written. The DVD has a special feature where it talks about little details people probably wouldn't even notice in the movie, and it's really amazing how in depth they made everything. Everytime I wear my "Pulp" shirt somewhere, with Lego versions of Vincent and Jules, people always ask me where I got it. I'm ashamed to say Hot Topic ... but it was on clearance!
But anyhoo we had a good day :) Next week is gonna be soooo busy ... Thursday is our 14 month anniversary ... Friday is Underworld ... sometime next week is le zoo ... Mike starts school again  And I have a feeling I gotta work a lot. So whoo :? But I gotta work tomorrow ... sorry this was a boring post ... maybe play some more Suikoden III .. I love that game .... hooked up my USB to PSP cable and put some songs on my PSP ... anyway ... night!

tBlog rocks the hizzouse ...
Heck yeah ... checked out the new tBlog today ... I feel so special being selected ::beams:: and it frigging rocks! It's laid out so nice ... still very simple and not complex, but definitely has a new and refined feel to it. Plus a lot more options than were available before. Only thing, which I'm sure they know, is that it says the blog title (i.e., Cherry's Quandaries) over whatever the blog header is. So that looks kinda silly, but other than that it's cool. And I don't think I'll want the option to have archives displayed but I'm sure you can change that in your preferences. I think this new version of tBlog will put it head and shoulders above all the other blogging sites out there!
Thanks guys!!

So yeah ... we still haven't gotten wireless internet yet but my computer is hanging in there for the moment ... man. The PSP rules. I used to be a hardcore Nintendo FREAK and hated PSP, but ... it kicks their ass. It can get on the internet, play MP3s, videos, has frigging awesome in-game graphics, store photos ... just everything. I got Ridge Racer for it and it looks SO AWESOME. Here are some (crappy quality) pics. Keep in mind it's hard to time the photos when you have to hold the cam and the PSP.

Jowy from Suikoden II as my background I downloaded offline ...

Some screens from Ridge Racer :)
It is just ... so unbelievably awesome. I got Ridge Racer for mine and Mike picked up X-Men 2: Rise of Apocalypse for his. We loooove those X-Men games. Especially Rogue & Gambit = sexiest comic couple ever.
And tomorrow we're going to the Cleveland Zoo! We're a coupla weirdos ... we do everything in the off season  We may also go to see my grandma. My grandma had emergency eye surgery yesterday morning to repair a detached retina. I love my grandma ... she is the coolest. If this surgery hadn't succeeded she would've lost that eye for good, and she doesn't see very well out of her other one. But everything is looking good now, so we are of course praying for her ... my grandma used to be an alcoholic. She quit almost two years ago, cold turkey, and it's a dream come true. I think she is the person in my family who I get along with the best, even out of my relatives that are my age. So hopefully she'll fell well enough to have us over.
But yep ... I already worked 10 - 2 but I'm going back in from 5 - 8 for a split shift ... so I hope everyone is having a wonderful day! Bye!

Great yesterday!
Yeah! ... Worked from 10:30 - 2:30 ... made some good dough. Then I came home and played Suikoden III until about 8 ... then I went to the store with my stepdad and picked up some Feria hair color :) I've been wanting to color my hair darker for a long time (since November 04 when my cousin colored it really dark but it faded) so I decided I was gonna do it. Then I went online and my friend Alissa was on and she wanted to hang out, so we did :) And I took my hair color over, and her boyfriend David did my hair! It was so great! It was really fun hanging out, and I never imagined David to be one to do hair. But it was tons of fun, and afterwards we played some DDR - and they are REALLY good at it! So I gotta take my Mario DDR over there sometime 8) They've got a really nice place, they're the only friends I know that have their own place already, it's really cool. And they have the sweetest little cat!
But anyhoo, so my hair looks pretty good 8) I took a picture with my cam, but it's still halfway impossible to tell the difference since I didn't go drastic. But here it is.

So there ya go. Paying $20 and getting to hang out with my friends is better than paying nearly $60 to some hairstylist who isn't nice!
Then I came home .. called Mike ... wished him a happy birthday :D :D And then my mom comes upstairs ... and she's like "I bought you something" so I'm just like, "Okay, what is it?" It was a fucking PSP! I am still in shock from it. I'm like, "Mom, why the heck did you spend all that money?" And she said, "Well now I finally have some money and I just want to get you stuff that you'll like that I never really get to buy for you." I was just in shock. I'm not used to getting stuff like that, I mean this computer for Christmas, and then that PSP ... just insane. I've always been the opposite of spoiled in my opinion ... I don't like unexpected gifts because I just feel like I owe something ... I know that's not how gifts are but that's just my personality. I like how I'm pretty self sufficient, but now that my mom is getting all this back child support from my dad ... it's like, whoa ... stuff for me! I guess I shouldn't complain, but I don't like seeming spoiled. ::shrugs::
So I don't have a game for it yet or anything but I'm thinking of either getting Ridge Racers ... because I've loved the original Ridge Racer ever since the first one on Playstation, and even though I don't give a hoot about the insides of cars, I think they're pretty too look at. That or PoPoLo Crois, or something like that. It's a really nifty looking RPG. Or I could just steal GTA: Liberty Stories from Mike
But anyway, Mike's gonna be calling me sometime to go out for lunch ... so ... I'm out. Ciao!

A good day.
Another uneventful week ... and so ends my 8 day working streak! I worked every day last week .. but tomorrow is Mike's birthday so of course I requested it off!
A funny story .... me and my mom went to Target in Willoughby last night to get Mike another X-Box 360 controller. Here were my options:
Third party controller, w/ wires: $30
X-Box Controller, w/wires: $40
Third party controller, wireless: $40
X-Box Controller, wireless: $50 ()
So yeah ... and I hate third party stuff, so I wanted to get an 'official' controller. Well, they had the wireless x-box controllers under the $40 price sticker at one part, which was $10 cheaper than I knew they were. So I was thinking, I wonder if I can get them for false advertisement. My mom was like "Meh I doubt it, I wouldn't try" and I wasn't feeling great so I just got the regular $40 wired controller. But as I was leaving electronics, I told the woman, "Hey, you've got your stuff under the wrong price sticker. Just thought I'd tell you." And I showed her what was wrong and she gave me the wireless controller for $40 instead of $50! It was great 8)
But anyway yeah ... we're going out to dinner tomorrow night and all the jazz with Mike's family. And having Dairy Queen ice cream cake ::droooools:: I love that stuff .... but I don't have a lot to talk about. Oh, I may not be online for about a week ... we're getting a new internet provider and things have to get changed around so if I don't post or comment for a while, sorry! :(

A good night :)
Tonight was a pretty good night! Well ... this morning was okay too I guess. I had a nightmare about working this morning ... kinda long and complicated to explain but basically in my dream I was flubbing up everything at work and everyone was mad. Which made sense because I was worried about it all night last night until I fell asleep. But from 8 am - 11:30 am I only had ONE TABLE. ONE! And it was breakfast and I only got a $3 and some change tip. I mean, it was a good tip, but still ... then we got SUPER busy after Leah came in at 11 am. So I ended up making about $40 today, not bad :)
Then later me, my Mike, Mike from work (now on referred to as Mike P.) and his pal RJ hung out ... omg Super Smash Bros Melee was SOOO fun ... Mike P. & RJ did beat us in the end (2-1) but man we had a great time. It was SOOO funny, this one part, RJ was DOnkey Kong, and DK just grabbed me (Sheik as always), tossed me on his back, and did a suicide off the side of the stage with me in tow. It was hilarious!!! Then Mike P. was playing DOA4 as Kasumi and he was against some character and they were fighting on a staircase ... as the dudes KO move on Mike, he grabbed Kasumi, and shoved her face down a flight of stairs! My Mike said it was the funniest moment, and it seriously was!
We went out to eat at where else but Grinders and had a really good time chatting. RJ was cool, hadn't met him before, but he was hilarious. And I was really glad that they all hit it off. So yay, new gaming buddies :)
Then me and Mike kinda chilled at his house, played some Animal Crossing and watched the German film "Goodbye Lenin" which I loved the first time around but this time it was kinda long :
But yep ... gonna go chill, relax, and play some Suikoden III ... night!!

A good day :)
Nothing crazy happened to me, but I still had a good day. I guess it helped that I worked 5 - 10:30 and made about $70 at work tonight, including my minimum wage. Score!
I didn't get up till real late today though, felt nice to sleep in. Bleh, sucks though, I gotta get up at 7:30 am tomorrow to be at work at 8 am ... yuck. ::sigh:: Oh well, gotta do what you gotta do. Hopefully I'll make decent money and it won't be insanely busy. But Mike and Jerome came in to eat tonight, yay :D It was so funny, I got nervous when Mike came in ... he still gives me butterflies :) And overall it was just a good night - had a table of 10 (including a baby), and two tables of 6 .. both tipped me really good. One of the people was the former superintendent of the Career Center I went to and he actually remembered me! I was flattered. Also left me a fabulous tip :D
Tomorrow should be pretty fun. Gonna hang out with my Mike, Mike from work, and his friend RJ playing some Super Smash Bros :) Me and Mike are gonna kick their asses though 8) But we haven't had a game night with anyone in a long time so this'll be fun, hopefully :)
Well ... gonna play some more Suikoden III ... night!

Nothin crazay...
Yep ... worked 11:30 - 8 today at Grinders ... didn't turn out to be a bad night :) Made about $70 over the course of the day, considering I worked 8 1/2 hours, plus the approx. $15 for the minimum wage servers receive ($2.30/hr), that equals about $10 an hour :) That makes me happy :D
But yep ... I've worked every day and will work every day this week. It's okay though, I'm glad I have a good, steady job that I enjoy and can be happy about, instead of that damn video store. Tomorrow Mike might come visit me with our friend Jerome ... I hope so :)
Not a whole lot to report ... been stuck playing Animal Crossing and making fun of peoples ugly pictures with my friend ... some people just don't have any shame or humility. Those people make me laugh.
Night!

My room ...
Whoo! I finally got all my cool Hello Kitty bed stuff setup. So here is a tour of my room via TERRIBLE $20 webcam.

This is my bed ... Hello Kitty'd out!! And of course that's my DS on the bed with Animal Crossing in it :) I finally paid of my 180,000 bell debt tonight!

This is my shelving area ... yes, Eva posters ... my Evangelion collection of art books and mangas ... and my Misato figurine from my favorite episode, "Jet Alone" ... course you can't see it ... my cam sucks!

And this is my view from where I am sitting :) Mike got me a light up Keroppi sign for Christmas 04 and those are my Eva drawings in the background. Yep! :)
So I gotta work a long day tomorrow, 11:30 am - 8. Yuck. Hopefully the money'll be good. Today was relatively uneventful, though we did play a lot of Earthbound ... he worked on my computer a little bit ... nothing great. But it was a good day. Ciao!

Ho hum ...
Edit: /me dies! I found out yesterday that one of me and Mike's favorite groups is playing in Ohio! Sure, it might as well be another state away (it's kinda far away) but we are going! I've never been to a concert before!
This is what we are going to:
Autobahn Festival 06It has nothing to do with driving fast, or Germany... it's an electronic pop music festival! The band we want to see ... Freezepop! They are an awesome independent band. I've had them on my right side bar for quite some time now :) If anyone's interested ... they have a kickass song on the game "Amplitude" for PS2 called "Super Sprode" ... they are just sweet. Also see my
myspace page to listen to "Stakeout" by them.

Not much of an interesting day today. I went to work at 10:30 this morning ... last night at work was interesting because it was just me and this other kid, Cory. Charity is another waitress, but she didn't bother to call in and say she wasn't coming in ... she just didn't show up. So we talked about that this morning in the soap opera that is Grinders. I love it though ...
I also don't have to work at the video store anymore. I put my two weeks in last Wednesday (I think) ... I knew I didn't have to work yesterday, so I called this morning to get my schedule for this week. Jess answered the phone, and shes like "Well, you don't work at all for the next two weeks" ... so it was real nice of someone to tell me that I wasn't gonna be scheduled, or ask me to turn in my key or anything ... yeah. I'm gonna miss the free rentals but that's about it.
Work sucked today though. This is a fact - older women (40+) hate tipping female servers. That's just how it is. And old people are the worst. But their reasons for tipping little are better than business women stuffed in their matching purple pantsuits who won't tip me because I'm not a male server, or because they're going through menopause. I had these two women today who came in, they ordered 2 appetizers to share, mushrooms and chicken strips. Then they give me this sneer and say (in the middle of lunch rush) "We're in a hurry, so ... " so I say, "Okay, I'll get it out as soon as I can"... so I'm busy and Josh is really nice and runs their food out to them for me because it was up REALLY fast. But after that I got them refills ... they didn't even leave me $1 for a tip, between them. It was all spare change. It's like, fuck you bitches, if you're not going to leave money for being served on, don't fucking come in. I won't even talk about the other tables, they made me so mad. I do remember people. And I know the kitchen!
So afterwards me and my mom grabbed a quick lunch at a different sit down restuarant, lol. I left the waitress a $4 tip. I wish I'd gotten some tips like that today. Being a server really changes your outlook on a lot of things. I recommend everyone do a job like that for at least a brief period of time; dealing with the public like that. I know I enjoy it the majority of the time, but the hard times really make you learn composure and patience ... lol.
So ... I came home and meant to clean my room ...but that didn't happen. I fell asleep. And it's almost 3 am and I'm wide awake. So I'll probably straighten it up some more tonight ... Mike's coming over tomorrow ... ::sigh:: I love him with all my heart but man sometimes he can be a dorkus.
Well I'm gonna work on that ... ciao!

Nothing much to report ...
I really haven't had the time to blog lately ... or really the desire ... I'm not sure why. Guess there's just not a whole lot interesting going on. And I've been playing too many PC games  I know it's old, but I got Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and have been playing that, it is so fun! I love how you can just steal ANYTHING from people, and how customizable the classes are. It's really fun! And I've been meaning to play Myst V: End of Ages but I still have to have Mike install my DVD-Rom.
So I don't have another car yet either. ::shrugs:: My mom lets me drive hers if I need it (sometimes) ...
Last night was pretty cool though, I got to hang out with my two best high school friends, Jon and Dave, for the first time since high school. We didn't do much, went out to BW3s and to Wal-Mart, and drove around for a few hours. But I had a really good time, it was so weird hanging out again, but luckily not in an awkward way.
My New Years was really good :) Me and Mike just spent our time together :) Had our sparkling grape juice, that stuff is good! Did anyone see Dick Clark's program? I felt so awful because he'd had a stroke and he didn't seem like he was doing to well
But other than that I've just been working. I have to work every day this week ... luckily I have a few evenings off this week. Me and Mike might hang out with a few guys from my work playing video games. That is what I hate, because while I would be SO mad if he was hanging out with girls, it's hypocritical ... but I don't get along with many girls, and not a lot of girls like the same things I like! I can't help that I have interests that aren't girl friendly, usually. I would love to find a girl friend to play video games with but they really aren't very common. Grr.
So I gotta go to work here in a few minutes. Technically, I did have today off from the restaurant, but a girl that I really like asked if I would work for her today, so I said okay. She's really nice and helped me out a lot recently. So yeah :)
Ciao!
